Sadly the game industry is over saturated. A lot of itch io games that become really popular are usually found through a big content creator picking up the game and playing it.

I just wanted to say how much my chat and  I truly enjoyed playing Once Upon A Mind on stream. "Cozy horror"  resonated with me and my community straight away when we read it. The whole game felt eerie, and  immersive. You can tell how much heart and effort went into this, and for a first game, honestly, it’s incredibly impressive.

What I loved most was how the game focused on telling a solid, suspenseful story rather than relying on endless puzzles or constant jumpscares. The pacing was perfect, and the atmosphere kept me nervous and on edge. And David 100% gave me and my chat (especially all the girls) serious heebie jeebies. That creeping dread stuck with me throughout the story.

My only negative critique is that I had trouble getting this game to stream as a game capture or window capture in OBS while live, I could only use desktop capture, however that could also be a me-problem, I'm unsure.

I really hope this isn't the last we see of Once Upon A Mind. I’d absolutely love to see it evolve into a full horror series, something like Fears To Fathom but with your personal touch. You’ve got talent and something special here, and I can't wait to see what you make next.

Much love from me and the chat!

The game was funny more than anything, not really so scary and didn't understand the plot. The AI has room for improvement also as the objective camping wasn't the best. Perhaps the story could be improved with more dialogue?

Overall the funniness of it made this game fun to play with my viewers on a live stream. We had a lot of laughs, cheesy jumpscares and memes.

I think there's a lot of potential for this developers future games to be improved upon, as there is clearly talent there, the game just lacked a little something and was funny more than anything. I look forward to playing your other games in the future. If you're interested I have attached an edited video from my live stream. The original full 2.5 hour video is on Twitch. ♥

I really enjoyed this game, I did purchase it on steam, but it was before I knew it was a game from Itchio. If you're interested here was my playthrough which was originally live streamed on Twitch. My viewers and I really enjoyed the game and we are eagerly excited for the third part of the Fears To Fathom series! ♥
