Ah, my apologies! That’s what I get for not reading! I’ll make sure I give the downloadable another shot! I don’t doubt that a lot of time and effort went into this project and I’m eager to get to see it! I’ll dedicate more time to it so I can give more accurate and informed feedback

Thoroughly enjoyed this one! It was a very cute and unique idea and really tested my audio recognition abilities! The birds themselves are really cute and I loved the detail of even giving them names via the menu (Zazu is my favourite :3)

Very very well polished game and an excellent entry to this jam! Well done!

I really enjoyed this one!! The dialogue was charming and witty and the world presented to the player was filled with cute little details that added to the overall charm (the 'no soliciting' sign, rubber ducks on the shelves, etc)

My only real wish for this project is for there to be a crosshair or some other kind of overlay to help the player tell where exactly they're looking and if an object they're hovering over is interactable or not

I was able to fully progress to the 'end of content' dialogue trigger and I cannot wait to see more should this be continued. Incredible work for a first release, well done!!

Adorable adorable adorable!!! The art style here is to die for and Lima is such a precious little thing and I wanna cuddle them so bad! The cozy spring vibes here have been captured immaculately! Very well done on this one!!

In terms of the gameplay, it's a somewhat basic loop of buying and planting what you can, selling, getting a new pot if you can afford it, and so on it goes. In this game, however, I feel that it achieves all it needs to! The adorable art style (I cannot stress it enough how much I love it) more than makes up for the downtime experienced when waiting to water your plants.

Very cozy, very very cute, and very well done!

This is such a cute little game! I loved the art direction (isometric is a very unique and memorable style to have!) and the sprites were well detailed and very cozy!

I also thoroughly enjoyed the music! Very well made compositions despite the short development time of the jam!

In terms of the gameplay itself, I found myself the littlest bit lost. While I was able to finish the game easily enough, I didn't exactly know how or why what I was doing was working. I didn't really understand what was giving me spring energy and what amount I was required to have to use the spell. Mashing the usage button as I ran around worked well enough until I realised I needed to be circling the animal enclosures to save them (which is a cute mechanic and impressively coded)

Overall, this is a very solid entry and congrats on the team for getting all this done in a short time!

In all honesty, I didn't really know what to do here. All I was able to do in my time playing was chop down a couple of trees. I used the watering can a couple times but then I got permanently locked in place and had to restart. I believe this could develop into something interesting but, as it is now, I think it needs a lot more polishing up before anything new is added.

Right off the bat, incredible character design and animation!!! What an adorable lil guy!

Leaving thoughts as I play:

  • The vine growing mechanic kinda reminded me of some segments in Drawn to Life on the DS
  • The sound design is really good and I love how the pitch of the vine growing tells you how close it is to being finished
  • Mechanics are introduced in a safe environment to teach the player how they work before then being used in more dangerous situations
  • Alternate routes are a great idea for introducing a risk/reward system to the player (more difficult, less pollen-consuming / easier, more pollen-consuming)
  • Played again to conserve pollen and get the good ending

This game was very very cute and I loved it a lot! In terms of bugs, I don't think I came across a single one! I noticed that my pollen was draining a little in windy areas despite having blocked the wind (maybe intentional?)

The art for this game is incredible and was the forefront of my enjoyment with this entry. Truly incredible to see what art and animation can be made in such a short amount of time!

Incredible entry, congrats, and I can't wait to see more! :)

Well put together and fun cute walk animation! Well done!

First impressions, this is very cool!! I was already enjoying the design of the tutorial area that eases you into an understanding of the game's controls. The introduction of the Sludge World as a reality shifting concept is wonderful and caused me to give an audible "ooh!!" and the music changing is a really really neat touch that adds to the whole appeal.

I like the main character's design! While somewhat basic, the addition of the flowers and vines add a lot to the design and the general theming of the game.

My main complaints arise in the game's main level. There are frequent instances of 'leap of faith' jumps where it can be very unclear where the ground is going to be and, if it is there, where an enemy might be which lead to an unfair death or two in my run.

Regardless, this concept shows promise and you've done very well to bring it to fruition in such a short time! Well done! In the future, I'd love to see further updates with more attack options (while moving?), enemy variety, and stages!

Thank you so much!!

Thank you so much!! I’m so glad you enjoyed it!! It means a lot to us!
