Hey, you cannot load a save that was made prior to the update since the new assets were not included the code does not recognize them, this issue should resolve by starting a new game. Unfortunately there is no way to fix this issue on old saves
Heya, I def agree, EmOth is my baby, viya was just a jam game. Currently there is no sequel in the works but I am working on an update with some proper edits and additional art soon. A future sequel, if I made one, would focus on Perci probably. At the moment though I am starting work on a brand new game
You could try downloading the windows version of the game and using joiplay to run it. Its an emulator and has an extention for renpy games. It works great

This is so sweet thank you so much! This game was largely inspired by the feel of the shojo manga I used to read and the many hours I spent playing flash dressup games as a kid. I'm glad you enjoyed it ^-^ I hope to create many more games, some set in this same universe
I doubt I'll lenghten this one since it was a jam game initially made in just a month, but there is the posibility for a longer game set in this universe with this style and similar elements in the future. I'm working on potential future projects right now and will post some concepts in a week or so, (one of them set in this universe) and have folks vote on the direction of the next project (that one would be full lenght)
I haven't tried installing it on android but, since the file needs to go into the game directory you may need an app like zarchiver that would let you access the android folder on your phone, from there you would need to look for the game folder. something like 'io.itch.carziecat.singlevampiresinyourarea' and follow the mod instructions as normal from there
if that does not work you can use joiplay and download the pc version of the game and play it through joiplay (a pc emulator for android) that way the folder should easily be accesible like it would be on pc and you can just follow the regular mod instructions
Ah that's definitely a mistake, Fern is also used in the code and it has to be lowercase there so I got into the habit. Thanks for letting me know and about the mask I'm doing a few more minor bug fixes and will have that fixed in a few days ^-^
Ah yeah, I'm sorry about that, you'll have the error a lot on old saves because code was added but the old save is already past the point in the story where it gathers that code so it's essentially missing from the old saves but will be there in newer ones
The menu change was intentional for the sake of making potential translations easier in the future. How the code is set up is that translators can translate all the dialogue but not edit actual code, so the text would remain in english even if the game was set to a different language
Initially when I started making this I planned to give Perci a route in this game but because Fern's story was, I also thought the text boxes and menus wouldn't fit his vibes so long I decided it should go in a different game. There is definitely more to come based around the embassy ^-^
Also already working on a last light CG with Fern and one for if you see him again after sealing the door ^-^ I think the hug would make a great addition too, thank you for the detailed comment, I appreciate it!
Heya! Thank you so much for the comment! The animals in the river scene will come back in the future, I just wasn't happy with the art anymore and plan to redraw it ^-^
The picture with fern definitely shouldn't be that afterwards so it must be a bug, I'll get that fixed soon.
As for the text, that might take a while for me to figure out. I changed the text for translation support and the old one only supported english letters. It is possible though, it just might have to wait for the next major update but it's a good idea!

Oh also, did you start a new save? Just want to troubleshoot but there are so many options in game that it might be hard to recreate the error on my end
All transations are fan made, someone has asked to translate to russian but since it's essentially a mod I don't know one way or the other, there might be one though, if it releases I'll link to it and make a devlog letting everyone know ^-^
