This is fun to play, though I’m really bad at bug solitaire.

(I don’t really know that much about solitaire in general)

the aesthetics of the game are very pleasing

and it’s fun to just let it auto-clean-up the board and freeing up usable cards

It’s an experience. Weird, but I enjoyed playing it. The music is an absolute bop to play to. I like the characters, they’re very cute :)

There’s a cool tv-personality robot character in this game.

The cost of items to their worth is a bit strange (the best healing items are the cheapest)(just get the cheapest healing items at the earliest shop or at the hotel telephone, and don’t buy the overpriced items in the studio)

Varik has high defense against enemies compared to the others for some reason (except for the few times when he doesn’t)

Finished the game in 2 hours.

Since the last crash, I’ve been saving more.

I finished picking the fruit and was grinding a bit up to Ilo reaching level 21.

I saved before I moved on to the next area, so I guess I can try choosing different paths from that save.

I went with Borys. After the strange monster battle, I got to asking Borys about his home country, then the game crashed. Luckily my new saving habit worked out and I won’t be losing too much progress.

Really awesome game!

I love the art so so much and the worldbuilding is so interesting! I really like the globe, really cool concept.

The spinning character freaked me out a bit

It took a while to understand the battle system, but I managed to figure out a battle method that worked for me. The enemies are surprisingly tough!

When I reached the houseboat and the shopkeeper revealed themselves, my game immediately crashed. I guess the power of their reveal was too much for the game to handle.

I forgot to save nooo (I saved a few times at the farm, but the save file is before my teammates levelled up to 21. sigh.)

It happens

It’s really impressive what you’ve made! I like the level design :)

Funny! Mildly frustrating puzzles (I keep hitting reset, regrouping at checkpoints too early, or going through the same rooms but that’s a me thing) (I don’t like the timed targets either). Trying to manage the caterpillar of club members as I kept collecting more and more was a challenge.

Well made game :) I enjoyed it, though I don’t think I want to finish it.

7:17.47 Pretty fun! A lot of adjusting the movements to make sure the cranes line up with the buttons, but satisfying when all the work lines up smoothly. The crane movement sounds add to the experience. :)

A nice winter walk!

It’s an entire adventure from start to end :)

(Note: this game took me 7 hours to play completely, according to the itch.io app. It is well worth the playthrough, I think)

An experience that lasted 2 minutes and gave me a chuckle XD

This is so fun! It’s a nice atmospheric experience of rolling around alien sand dunes as a plant in a bubble spaceship.

Once I got the hang of the movement, it was fun to surf the dunes! I thought it was only the starting building that was around, but then I found the marble run and had a destination to reach

I couldn’t figure out how to close the game when I was finished so I force closed it with alt+f4.

Ok I have finished the main story and got through more substories and stuff (haven’t completed the entire game yet)

The writing is really good

I can see the love poured into these characters & their stories :)

but also

I haven’t finished the game as of writing, but I just want to write…

THIS GAME IS INCREDIBLE! The story is well written and the characters are very fleshed out. It is funny how it’s this old guy who just wants to go to sleep inside his wizard tower, and the story deepens beyond that. I loved learning about their world and the history and the magic and

I have played at least 3 hours. It’s a lot of reading (because text adventure, duh) but it’s fun reading.

This old man is so oblivious and silly

I kept imagining visual scenes in my head as I was reading, very fun

I just kept going back to Galvey (the first mission / planet) and picking up more plants to grind for easy profit. I tried doing it with Karbyne (the second mission / planet) at first but realized I was either stagnating with money (because I kept spending it on fuel and oxygen over and over again) or actively losing money. Then the last mission to Centarah was kind of uneventful.

Overall, nice concept, though there isn’t really much to do content wise.

mad that I lost 40 units of oxygen one time >:(

THIS IS SO GOOD!!!

Augh I love this little text adventure game

more people should play it

spoilers. don't open this. Play through the game first. Thank goodness for the Rod. (it's fun to imagine the images of using the Rod to get "Red ID card")

and I see that The Stanley Parable is one of the inspirations ;)

I love this! It’s cute and the art is so good! I like all the interesting hoverbike designs!

I’ve actually played it on a mobile platform (IOS), and recognized it when it was published here. My download is dated back to 2021, but it seems to have been taken down from the App Store.

This is so good! I did have a bit of trouble and needed the walkthrough (thank you) but I loved playing the game! The music is so good, I was just jamming the entire playthrough :D

Fun little mystery adventure!

This game is amazing! I spent half the time playing just staring, going “ooooh!!! woah!!!!” around the rooms and looking at the objects. I enjoyed the atmosphere! The music, the colors, the 70s room design! It was fun to explore! It is like Portal but sweet and wholesome :D

I loved this game! Fishing out in deep space on a lonely asteroid with Paul (and Paul2). A very nice, calming experience (save for the minor frustration of trying to time the locks). and the ending is sweet :)

MMMMMMMAUGH I finished the story and OUGH THE DRAMA THE INTRIGUE :D

The ending was really good too oh my goodness

It’s a nice short murder mystery and I enjoyed it very much :)

as an answer to the second question, yes, I did try to play the VN outside of downloading it through the itch.io app The first time I played, it was through/inside the itch.io app, I didn’t move the VN’s game folder or anything. When it crashed, I then tried moving the game folder out of the itch.io app folder and into my downloads to see if anything would change when I ran the .exe itself (didn’t change anything). Then at night I re-downloaded the game a second time, but through the itch.io website on my browser.

IMPORTANT NOTE: While searching around the internet (trying to make sense of a bit of the log.txt file) I came across a discussion on steam: https://steamcommunity.com/app/1895350/discussions/0/4417549985251785680/ I pressed shift+g and set the Renderer to “Force ANGLE2 Renderer” and I can play the evidence combining portion without it crashing at the beginning.

INFO NOT RELATED TO CRASH: (included for context on what I’m doing?) Earlier today I downloaded the game through the itch.io app, then right now I tried just downloading it from the browser.

Earlier, in the app, I wasn’t able to use the skip function, I just repeatedly pressed the space bar through the dialogue since I read through it once before, to make a backup save right before the moment that causes the game to crash.

Right now, I tried it and the skip function worked, so ???dunno what happened earlier. I made a backup save to load in before the moment.

INFO RELATED TO CRASH: Both the earlier (in itch.io app) and right now (from-browser download) has the same crash at the same moment of the VN. I’ll upload the last image I can see before it immediately crashes:

Once I get to the evidence piecing portion, the game crashes. I had to do the whole thing over to make a backup save, because I forgot to save on the first go. I can’t really get past the evidence portion without crashing, so I guess that’s it for me. Oh well.

What I did get to play, it was fun! The art is lovely :)

I love all of the creatures on the Formless star, they’re all unique and fun! Sylvia has my heart 🤍

Jelly biome is terrific, I share your excitement :D

(1 edit)

I finished the game (and LOVED IT :D.

SPOILERS. Find all the animals first!

I’m assuming you’re referring to the colorful person at the end. That would be Shape, the being that created the formless star and the animals that live on it. She is #61. I found her after finding all 60 other animals. :)

Wanted to put a spoiler tag, fumbled around a bit. the deleted post is mine, haha

Perfectly halved dinner roll :)

How do I make an apiary?

Verdant Village community · Created a new topic Fishing

Can you please make fishing easier? Or slower? I finally got a fishing rod after one season and am trying to figure out how to use it. Maybe I don't have enough practice and it's me, but I haven't been able to catch a single fish yet.

Or any tips on how  people have fished would help.  I need help on the movement keys.
