This story takes place on the Danoise estate nearly a month following the death of Duchess Anne Danoise.
A beloved entrepreneur and the late owner of the Danoise Legacy, she’s known for making several namesake businesses bloom during her time as Duchess. Wife of one and Mother of none, her passing has the entire town eager to find out how her numerous assets will be divided.
Her husband, Duke Lambert Danoise, is left with the heavy duty of executing her last wishes and wrapping up loose ends. As such, he invites several key people to the reading of her will.
Everyone makes their way to The Manor on the morning of the reading, some expecting to receive riches from the Danoise inheritance, and some for more…sinister reasons.
