hi 👋 another dev here. Something else to note about the checkpoints is that originally we planned for the level/world and tile set to be geometrically shaped much "weirder," so we continued with that idea for things such as the checkpoints and slopes that turn you into the ball. You can see the original tileset concept art here

Perfect little game for a game jam! Love the atmosphere and the coziness of it all. Nice work!

Criminally underrated (pun intended!) Man this game fun and I adore the art style and overall presentation of it. The worst part about it is that the physics can get you stuck in some places forcing you to restart, but the fact that the "worst" part is a bug and has nothing to do with the actual game design speaks wonders. And its more than excusable because its a 4 day game jam. Terrific work, definitely one of my favorites

Wow this games gets hectic! I was able to pick up what was going on pretty quickly and kept going back for more when I failed, this is really the perfect type of game for a game jam! Not to mention what is probably my favorite music I've seen so far in this jam. The presentation on this overall is just great, I mean come on you even have voice acting?! And the presentation doesn't even stop at the game; even the itch page looks great haha!! Great job guys!!

The concept is so fun haha. Its like a metroidbrania! I adore the environment, lighting, and overall presentation too! Took me a while to complete but the puzzles were fun to figure out

Really really like this one.  bullet hell tower defense is a really good concept. A fully fleshed out version of this 100% something id buy. This game multiplayer would be especially fun.

Both art styles are awesome and look very good. That move set is also really cool. Gameplay was always interesting and new!
