This is my first jam, though I've worked on solo projects before and for club projects. Really proud of my work here! I really like how I tied everything back to the main "Spin to Win" mechanics for my game. Especially proud of finishing it since I'm working an internship this summer and didn't have much time throughout the week to spend on the game!
It's been really great to get feedback from everyone and playing everyone else's games! I'm a little over 50 ratings now, and I think I've also played around 50. There's some really impressive work people are doing!

Wow, incredible! Love the vibe of the game, how you use the live action segment for russian roulette, the physics of the bullets that they throw out, the chaos of trying to spin the chamber while dodging enemies, the different bullet types, everything is so well integrated into the main mechanic of the revolver bullets and the russian roulette! Super satisfying combat too, though those flying enemies were annoying. Also the effect on your vision when the bomb goes off is super cool!!
Thanks for your feedback! I get your point about the passives, but I really like the idea of the passive upgrades on the wheel. Do you think making the passive upgrades stronger so you need less of them would help? Or making the wheel spin faster so it is less bad when you have to spin? Curious what people think
Thank you! I do have passive upgrades like wheel spin rate and extra bullets, but they all go on the wheel. Functionally it works pretty much like "shoot one more bullet but remove a skill", since getting the passive upgrades gives you less chance to land on a spell. I get what you're saying though, it could be nice to have upgrades not tied to the wheel.
Thank you so much! There are some ways of basically doing what you're saying, like if you land on a Double Cast between two of the same spell, it'll cast the spell with double damage, and the "matching spells next to each other" is kind of what I'm doing for Lightning, but I do think it could be cool to have more powerscaling mechanics like that, especially that "merging" idea. Great feedback!
One day left in the jam! This is my first jam, and it's been really cool seeing everyone's games! Finally caving in and doing my own rate for rate post. Here's my game: https://itch.io/jam/theveryseriousjuniperdevgamejam/rate/4708018. It's a survivors-like with deckbuilder elements, where you spin a wheel to cast spells.
Reply and I'll do my best to rate all your games, it would be great if you rated mine as well!
This was my first jam, it's been really cool! Lots of cool and creative games. Here's mine if you want to rate it: https://itch.io/jam/theveryseriousjuniperdevgamejam/rate/4708018
Here's mine: https://itch.io/jam/theveryseriousjuniperdevgamejam/rate/4708018
It's a survivors-like where you spin a wheel to cast spells, and you can upgrade the wheel. You play as a mouse wizard.
