Thanks for the feedback!

Thank you so much!!

So cute! love the art and the vibe!

Here's mine: https://itch.io/jam/theveryseriousjuniperdevgamejam/rate/4708018

This is my first jam, though I've worked on solo projects before and for club projects. Really proud of my work here! I really like how I tied everything back to the main "Spin to Win" mechanics for my game. Especially proud of finishing it since I'm working an internship this summer and didn't have much time throughout the week to spend on the game!

It's been really great to get feedback from everyone and playing everyone else's games! I'm a little over 50 ratings now, and I think I've also played around 50. There's some really impressive work people are doing!

Super fun! simplistic but addicting gameplay and great visuals too! lots of sauce!

Thank you so much! I think that has been the most common suggestion lol

Love the presentation, great music! Lots of depth to the combat, especially liked the star system! Good variety of enemies upgrades and potions!

Yup, definitely doing that lol everyone is saying it

I am actually already cutting the probability of most passives in half compared to spells! The numbers probably still need tweaking, but basically their sizes on the wheel are accurate to the probability. It may help to make them smaller! Thanks for your feedback, very helpful!

Wow, incredible! Love the vibe of the game, how you use the live action segment for russian roulette, the physics of the bullets that they throw out, the chaos of trying to spin the chamber while dodging enemies, the different bullet types, everything is so well integrated into the main mechanic of the revolver bullets and the russian roulette! Super satisfying combat too, though those flying enemies were annoying. Also the effect on your vision when the bomb goes off is super cool!!

A lot to process, but good visuals and great music! Did I hear a little bit of megalovania in the music? lol

Thanks for your feedback! I get your point about the passives, but I really like the idea of the passive upgrades on the wheel. Do you think making the passive upgrades stronger so you need less of them would help? Or making the wheel spin faster so it is less bad when you have to spin? Curious what people think

Very funny concept and items!

Thank you so much!

Hey guys! Just so you know I don't think I can comment on all your games, it's saying "You're posting too often", but I'm making my way through these games! I'll play as many as I can but no guarantees!

Thank you! I do have passive upgrades like wheel spin rate and extra bullets, but they all go on the wheel. Functionally it works pretty much like "shoot one more bullet but remove a skill", since getting the passive upgrades gives you less chance to land on a spell. I get what you're saying though, it could be nice to have upgrades not tied to the wheel.

Thank you so much!!

Very funny premise, so real! Good gameplay and upgrades as well, appreciate the minigames to spice up gameplay. It definitely became easier to get experience than applications

Thank you so much!

Thank you!! Yeah, getting trapped in enemies can definitely be annoying

Thank you! Maybe I could make the placement synergies more impactful, good feedback.

Thanks for the feedback!!

Thanks for the feedback! I'm thinking maybe I should add a mode where the game only lasts 5 minutes

Thank you! I do have other synergies, like Freeze increasing duration if not adjacent to other Freezes, and everything with Boost Spell and Double Cast, but having even more of that would definitely be cool. Thanks for the feedback!

Thank you so much!

Thank you!!

Thanks!

Thank you so much!! Yeah the purples only do things if next to colored segments. I totally get having mostly gray tiles can be annoying, maybe I should make them stronger so you need less of them. Definitely had other enemy types in mind, but had to finish what I could! Thanks for the feedback!!

Thank you so much! There are some ways of basically doing what you're saying, like if you land on a Double Cast between two of the same spell, it'll cast the spell with double damage, and the "matching spells next to each other" is kind of what I'm doing for Lightning, but I do think it could be cool to have more powerscaling mechanics like that, especially that "merging" idea. Great feedback!

Thank you so much!

One day left in the jam! This is my first jam, and it's been really cool seeing everyone's games! Finally caving in and doing my own rate for rate post. Here's my game: https://itch.io/jam/theveryseriousjuniperdevgamejam/rate/4708018. It's a survivors-like with deckbuilder elements, where you spin a wheel to cast spells.

Reply and I'll do my best to rate all your games, it would be great if you rated mine as well!

Super cool! The Origami King battle system makes so much sense for this jam, and you replicated it perfectly! Also super cool how the deckbuilding is in the form of the monsters you're fighting, very interesting concept.

This was my first jam, it's been really cool! Lots of cool and creative games. Here's mine if you want to rate it: https://itch.io/jam/theveryseriousjuniperdevgamejam/rate/4708018

Cool that you were able to make a tower defense game, cards are interesting. More polish and faster gameplay would be good.

It's a survivors-like where you spin a wheel to cast spells, and you can upgrade the wheel. You play as a mouse wizard.

Pretty simple, but polished. Would've liked to see more content, but what's here is good!
