Hi all !

I just released SKEW, a lightweight generic system that fits in 30 pages designed around one central goal: get players to ask themselves "How do I want to do this ?" instead of "Can I do this ?", while keeping the rules simple.

The game features opposed attribute axes, a dice-chain opposed-rolls resolution system, grid-based inventory management, narrative character progression and surreal, chaotic spells and magic items.

SKEW just came out in Beta and although early playtests have shown me that things do not seem to be completely broken, I'd still be highly interested to get your feedback in order to improve the game ! I'd be especially interested at opinions on d20 conversion tables for monsters, as I am not an avid user of pre-made modules.

The game is free and made to be hacked, so don't hesitate to share your own hacks and creations if you like it !

You can check SKEW out on itch.io, as well as on the official website. I also created a handy character manager to simplify inventory management in remote play.

I hope you enjoy it and am eager to see what you think about it !
