I really like the game play, and unlocking new characters mechanic!
To be completely honest, the lore and story did not click for me. After reading the first dialogs, I started skipping the others. The gameplay was what hooked me. I also liked the character designs :) Congrats on the game! 

It is a fun game! I have never played the original casino dice game; I only have references from movies, but the tutorial was good enough to teach me how the game works.

I bet on the demo and could see the complexity and different strategies that the game supports. 

I just wasn't sure how to use the special dice; I bought some but never got to use them.

If I were to improve something would be the visual presentation. I know the game is 2d but somehow I feel that it would be much more satisfying with a 3d dice; just thinking about how the creator of Balatro expended a lot of time to make the cards feel like cards, in a dice game the dice should feel like a dice.

There are a couple of points that I am already planning for the next build; one of those is to remove the stop button so people really focus more on the percentage values in the tooltip to think strategically (also working on designs for better tooltips).

The global symbols are symbols that can appear no matter what card you select; there is a button where you can check those, but people are not noticing it.

Overall, I think that the game will need a dedicated tutorial level to introduce the mechanics more slowly. And more game events are on my plans too! :)
