Thanks, yes the low-res quality of the map does, and the amount of zoom-in does indeed make things difficult to ascertain. I know this sounds a bit insane, but that was by-and-large by design. I wanted to incorporate the way it used to feel playing older video games on bad CRT TVs. Originally I even had a 'frame' for the screen to mimic playing on an old TV, but that made the game screen even smaller and overall nearly unplayable!
Hmm, the game is made with PhaserJS, which is essentially just JavaScript which should run on just about anything assuming you don't have it disabled in the settings. Perhaps something hung when trying to download the game.. it's not very big.. only 20 MB or so, so it shouldn't take very long to download even over slow wifi. Try clearing your cache, and refreshing maybe?
