Thank you for seeing the good in my game, as it is my first and I definitely could have done things better. Though I'm glad you still see some charm despite it's flaws. I learned a lot from this this game and post jam I've been working on it a little. I know the lack of animations and clear instructions are frustrating for players, I wish I had done better on that part. This game jam has opened to my eyes and hopefully this experience will make me a better game developer as this is a passion of mine.

Also, wishing you well on your game developer journey as well.

Thank you for sharing your feedback! I love all of what you guys have to say...that being said...

I am sorry for you less than desirable experience, I understand now that my games need more visual cues.  Animations and or proper aiming would go a mile in my game. Thank you for being apart of my game developer journey.

Ah, thank you! I love hearing feedback of my strong points and downfalls. One thing I wish I could have down better is add a proper aiming system. As well the lack of animations makes it hard to know if you're throwing or not. My next game I wish to fix this, and if there's any interest post-jam I am working on a better aiming system maybe I'll update it. Again...thank you!

Ah, sorry to hear about your issues, throwing potions is a little finicky I'll admit. The issue stems from me having some weird auto-aim thing going on. Basically, you have to be in range of a zombie to actually throw anything. Thank you for voicing your complainants as next game I definitely want to add some kind of aiming along with proper animations to visualize shooting.

I'm on laptop and using a mouse pad, my screen is big too, so maybe it's a screen thing? It would be nice to have a mouse setting since though would fix some issues.

I like it, but what's killing me here is the lack of arrow key support and the the mouse sensitivity is way too high to be nice feeling. The art is nice, I like the sounds, and everything feels...eerie, so that I was nice, overall good game, needs better controls though.

Oh, thank you! I had the audio looping checkbox on, so I'm guessing it was me not know the proper settings. I'll check that out.

(I'm trying to reproduce the error in the browser but the audio is working fine, I think it's because I might be on Firefox and it's a chrome issue, Opera or Brave.)

I am glad you like and see good in my game, I tried to make the game fair but I got guess I missed the mark. I'll keep game difficulty in mind when making my next game. Maybe a menu where you pick hard easy or that sort if thing.

Thank you for leaving a comment, I love feedback, I don't want to excuses for my game but music looping did work in Godot, so I'm not sure about the issue (sorry). And I tried to add a tutorial with the help menu but it wasn't too helpful (pun intended) in your case. Though I have a feeling you were throwing potions it was just the lack of animations sooooo....sorry.

I LOVE it, I was hooked, beat the game in 45 minutes, you my friend...know how to make a person addicted.

Thanks, next time I should make the goal more clear, there's a lot I wanted to do, but due to my lack of experience, I was prone to make mistakes and I ended up writing really bad code that prevented a lot of stuff I wanted to do. I'm glad you see something nice in my game.

(And P.S nice profile picture)

I love the art it's really pretty, and the game moves nicely, and it seems to have story which was nice. Now comes my nit-pick and it may be a skill issue...but i=the game moves too fast and I'm already a bad typist...

BUT, I can't blame you for my bad skills, the story is pretty good, like I said you have nice art, but I just wish you had like a slow mode or something. Nice game.

Thanks for the review, and yeah....I knew the game had some issues...I was desperate for a release.  Thank you for pointing out areas where I could improve, I wanted to do a lot of things. But as time grew tighter and my code starting rearing it's ugly head....I fell through.

The art is nice, and it is nice to be walked through a game, but the story is unclear, there is no sound and I'm sure if I won or lost, things were just unclear.
