I wrote in the game comments some instructions, including the controls, but I said "normal controls", because I just kind of assumed that wasd and space were the standard. I changed it.

Also, a lot of people are talking about the sensitivity, so I changed it, and I've just uploaded the updates because the Jam finished. Thanks for the info!

How did you make this in only 10 days?! This is awesome! The music, the graphics, the map, it's all beautiful and interesting. All of the characters are adorable, and the movement is great. My only request is to add jumping. Other than that, it's awesome!

It has come to my attention that the volume slider and multiplayer doesn't work. I have already fixed these issues in Unity, but I can't change them on Itch until the game jam is over. You can just mute the tab in the meantime.

(If anyone wants to know, I had forgotten to attach the volume slider to player 2's script when building the game)

This is awesome! The music is great, and the minigames are so fun I could play them forever. I love how the game speeds up, which gives you some anxiety, and makes the game more intense. An egg got stuck on my screen, which kind of made the rest of the game a bit more hilarious, but I love the abstract realism!

I gave on what I think was the last level, but I loved the lighting, sound effects, mechanics, puzzles, and levels. The last one was a bit too hard for me, but I guess that was the purpose: overcoming difficult challenges, and the only way to do that is to just get started. I love this!

Honestly I love the mechanics, and wish I had your player movement in my game. I love the idea, and it's a great seed for a wonderful open-world game to grow from. The running, camera, and jumping is really smooth, it just needs some more time to add the main mechanics and polish some animations. I don't know why, but it's so relaxing to just run around in a low-poly desert and punch wolves.

Just found out that Itch has a choice to add a fullscreen button haha

I was a bit worried about the sensitivity range, but it's good that the dial worked because I hoped people would use it to fix the problem. I though I gave it fullscreen but I guess it didn't work. I was actually really worried about the music because I had no idea what to make, because I've never written music before, so I just recorded me doodling on my piano and guitar. About the pointer lock, I tried to just make the pointer invisible, but I didn't have a texture for that at the moment. Thank you for the advice, I'll try to fix those after the jam!

love the music, and the gameplay is really satisfying. The plant is a bit hard to control because it sways from side to side, but it's a great design choice, because it gives an extra difficulty to the game. I love this!

I really love the gameplay loop! It's really fun to play, and I just couldn't pull away from it. There were some requests that I couldn't figure out how to fulfill, but seeing what you said in the description, it's an awesome game! It's wonderful either way, and I hope you keep working on this after the jam!

Thank you!

I liked the storyline an the idea of getting a fresh start after seeing the future. I'm not sure if the black boxes were supposed to be there or if my crappy computer just can't render some things, but overall, I loved the storyline and idea!

I love this game! The puzzles are great, the animations are beautiful, the backgrounds are beautiful, it plays smooth, and I love the idea of to finish the game, you have to start the game. Wonderful!

I love the art, and the retro music and sfx, the game is a bit short, but that's mostly the idea, having the ball roll down. I love the puzzles and the smoothness of the hitboxes and movement. Overall, great game!

My spacebar is dead now...

But this is an awesome game! I can't believe there's 12 endings. It feels like "I am Bread", I can't believe you made this in 10 days! Great game.

I really loved the art and the gameplay, I loved the idea of granting health after fights. The movement was a bit too fast on the player, but other than that, great game!

I love the art, and the concept for the story. I did find the enemies a bit hard to beat (probably because I'm not that great at games, please don't take that advice too seriously). I could just walk right past the enemies, but all in all, great gameplay, not laggy, fun music, and the art was great.

Thank you, I’ll try to add that

I would like to add a few things for people playing the game:

  • First player has wasd+space controls, second has arrow keys (jump is right shift)
  • You might have to click the game again to get the controls working (Not sure why it did that in itch)
  • Esc key is menu. Quit will not close out the game, but it will stop the program.
