Hello all!
I love playing video games (from NES to PS5 I've always been playing).
The past few years or so I've also discovered I enjoy making (or at least attempting to make) games as well! I've done work in Godot and Unity with a friend but his passion seems to have died off while mine is only increasing.
I'd like to join someone or a team or people that are interested in making a game! My experience is non-zero but I would definitely be asking a lot of questions.
Some more bulleted things about me:
- Proficient in: C#, Java, Python, Scala, Git and version control
- Games I Enjoy: So many :) Turn based and Action RPGs, Spooky games (SH2 Remake is phenomenal!), RTS's, MMOs, Open World
- Games I Wouldn't Mind Trying to Make: Anything! I'm open minded. I also have a very loose idea for a game but would love to hear others! I've developed in both Unity and Godot.
- Why me? I am not a game developer by trade and am learning as I go. However, I am good at learning. PhD in astrophysics and a data scientist - there's nothing that scares me to learn. I think getting connected with some like-minded people would definitely accelerate my knowledge.
- When would I be Available? Weekends!
- What part of a game would I be interested in helping with? Also open minded!
