This has way more content and polish than I could possibly expect from a comedy fan game.

Does an entry have to actually run on an old system, or is it okay to make a game in a modern engine with the look & feel of an old machine?

This is pretty fun! I thought it was too fast at first, but the speed forces you to do longer zig-zags to line up a seed.

Thanks for playing! This was my first time using the physics engine built into Godot and there was some trial & error with the controls, it got kind of too chaotic if the player could zip around too freely.

I really vibe with this sense of humor, reminds me a little of South Park. The music is A+++

I feel like I just played Duck Souls. Tough but fun. The jump timing could be tighter but I mostly got used to it.  The main character and visual style are very appealing.

This is cool though hard to play on a laptop with a touchpad so I only got a score of 3.

It might help if there were like a 2 second safe period at the beginning? It's a little too easy to die immediately.

It's a prototype that's a joke game / fan game, but mostly it's a simple exercise to try out making a PICO-8 cart. There's not much to see but thanks for checking it out!

This is really sweet and cute and I love the simple but animated art style.

The very first screen? You should be able to click through it, it was supposed to be a title page but export to html broke it and I didn't have time to fix before jam deadline. I'm gonna try to upload a less janky build next week.

I actually kind of like how the collision is super precise and kind of clunky, it reminds me of parking a car somehow. The mix of  slow precise parts and dodging obstacles gives it a nice rhythm.  I got about 6 levels in before I gave up.

This feels satisfyingly chunky and solid, somehow like a pinball machine. I love the bold, crisp gfx and especially the stroked/3D fonts. This is dripping with Arcade Vibe.

A+ music and great art style. Pretty hilarious and nice details like the different faces on the various sheep. This could make a charming little phone game.

Loaded fine for me (MacOS + Firefox). The pixelated b&w shaders look soooo good. I wandered around for 10+ min and the navigation was a bit too tough for me (maybe a slightly faster movement speed would help?) but I love the atmosphere.

I especially love the sound design. It feels a little bit like Hollow Knight in a noir-industrial setting. I got as far as a charging station on the top floor. The simple controls are appealing and there's a lot you could do with this concept.

This is a cool twist on Asteroids! It's a lot of fun getting covered in sticky stars and running into stuff.  There's a lot of little things you could do to add variation, like maybe rocks which take multiple hits or can only be destroyed with a specific shape of star.
