Absolutely love the art and how polished everything is! Solid concept! That final puzzle really hit the sweet spot for good puzzle design, and I just wished the game was longer! Fantastic job!

(Also sidenote, standing on a box on a seesaw doesn't push it down but stepping off the box on a seesaw does, it may not be accurate to physics but it sure did help me solve some puzzles :p)

Thank you for playing and the comment!

Thanks for playing and the nice comment!!!

And sadly no, i didn't program a way to skip the cutscenes (╥﹏╥) sorry bout that)

Fun visual novel! Good art! Humor was on point too! Very well done! (also chrono trigger reference, nice)

Literally the best game ever made, No complaints. Actually goated

hi, im here to deliver valuable project-saving feedback and its not because i'm being held at gunpoint i swear.

THUS

I love the aesthetic! The warm colours, the cozy ahh environment, Jenkins' portrait, the Crafting screen with the cel-shaded fog in the background, it's. peak. I can't wait to see how the game's artstyle will progress!

I love the Crafting, it reminds me of a basic version of Potion Craft, and that game slaps. It was a bit unclear that the candles could be used in the crafting as well.

One thing I would like to see if you could throw in more "out-there" "ingredients" in your alchemy later as well :D

As for the overall story, there's a not a lot there, so it's also hard to judge. I liked the character writing of Jenkins, I love him even though he sucks (endearing).  One minor thing I didn't like were the "magical transponders" which are fantasy ahh phones which... kinda take me out of the medieval fantasy when I'm reminded they have an equivalent of modern day cell phones.

IN CONCLUSION, very good first introduction! Keep cooking!

also add a way to quit aside from alt f4

Version 1.1 Changes:

  • Slightly reduced difficulty
  • Added a "Skip cutscenes" button
  • Fixed a stray pixel

Amazing movement and incredible atmosphere! Shame those sunglasses in the thumbnail weren't in the actual game (at least that I could find :p). Nevertheless this game was an actual vibe, the music also really contributed to that. Very well done!

Very simple game (just quick time events lol) BUT still really good because of the amazing (and hilarious) visuals/sound design. Very well done!

Reimu being a very responsible shrine maiden by cleaning up and enjoying a hot cocoa afterwards? Nice. Really liked Reimu's constant goofy smile lol. :)

I like the gameplay concept and the controls felt smooth, as others have already pointed out, an aiming reticle would have been nice as well as a better indicator of when the player got hit. The visuals were pretty nice though! Good game!

Very simple game, but very fun. Pretty creative too! and I also like how you can rotate the dice on the title screen :p
