The Game

So if you've ever played Minesweeper, the game is basically that but on strait-shaped maps. It follows the classic Minesweeper rules and features a very good (the best in my opinion) no-guess mode where you will never be left making random guesses and get stuck in 50-50 situations. Never.

It also features polished animations, sound effects, a hint system, and a post-game trace system that allows you to see every single move you made and what you did right and wrong.

The itch.io version just has four strait maps each with four difficulties to choose from. The game is also available on the Google Play Store (here) and will soon be available on the App Store too. The mobile versions have more features, including four additional square/rectangle maps each with four difficulty levels, XP and ranking system, online leaderboards for every grid and difficulty, a campaign containing 44 mini puzzles teaching users basic to sophisticated Minesweeper patterns, cosmetic system where you can customize the game to look how you like (dozens of backgrounds, grid themes, mines, tap animations, selector animations, etc.), daily/weekly challenges, rewards, inventory and trade system, and more! Best of all its free, even the vast majority of cosmetics which can be obtained by just leveling up.

Why did I spend so much time on this?
idk I guess I was bored lol. I'm a software engineer in real life, and sometimes when we get bored we start random projects. I guess I saw what was going on in the news and thought it'd be funny to make an actually good implementation of what a few people already tried.
