Thank you very much! We're all floored, as there were some amazing games submitted to the jam. Needless to say, we're overjoyed with the positive response we got!

This game destroyed me. I signed up for an underwater GF but all I got was a dark souls experience.

I think this is the best implementation of the theme in the whole game jam. Most other games (ours included!) could also be set in space in terms of movement/controls, but this game is very specifically about looking »underwater«.

Also love the spooky atmosphere! 

I'm happy to hear that the intro panels are well received! They're not technically necessary, but we thought intros would simply a cool thing to have!

Thank you! We talked about adding an upgrade system, where you turn in your catches for increased speed, range, lights, etc, but decided to focus on the core gameplay of the sonic wave for the game jam. Would love to eventually implement that in a more developed version!

Thank you! The quest system came in pretty late, and with a couple of extra hours we would've expanded on it (or at least made the instruction more clear).
We knew about the scrollwheel and deliberately left it in the game, as it was kind of fun to zoom around at high speed (in a more developed version that could be an upgrade!). 

Incredible polish. Great visuals, audio, gameplay, movement and even a shop system. I'm amazed how you managed to create a fully fledged game with in the given time. Definitely my favorite!

Fantastic vibes! Love the audio and visual design, really makes you want to spend some time chillin out in the ocean. Also reminds me of Superman 64 (but better!)

Love the audio-visual style of this game. The way the sonar works with the projection is amazing. Just that alone kept me walking and jumping around for a while, and I could imagine this being a great basis for a more detailed game built around it. 

Very chill game (maybe a bit too chill, because I could just watch without doing anything!). Music and visuals are top notch!

Very fun game! Had to cheese the boss to finish, but I liked the twist with the speaker

Absolutely love it. The gameplay is really cool and pretty addictive. The auto-spin seems like such a simple idea, but I don't think I've ever seen that anywere, and it's quite fun in practice . The overall visual and sound quality is really high too. Great timing and tempo on the movements, beautiful sprite work, clear UI and very enjoyable music and sounds. Good stuff!

Very cool use of the theme and object. I was expecting a jump scare any second, so it felt pretty tense! Often, the sonar wouldn't work for me, or it shot out in the wrong direction, but overall this game worked really well. The minimalist take on the graphics and sound were a great fit too. 

Lovely experience! The text was indeed a bit small, but I loved the story. Very big on the positive vibes! Also a fun twist on the "speaker" part of the jam
