Thanks! I think anything that opens people up to new movies, or helps them rediscover old favorites, can only be a good thing. I absolutely love how your game is written in a screenplay format. It looks fantastic, and I can't wait to give it a proper play through.

Glad you liked it! I like the idea of six of them always being asleep, even if they're not currently "partaking of the sacrament."

Thanks for reading! Glad you enjoyed.

Thanks for reading! Yeah, Batraxion is the only one who actually survived "six sleeps." It's a stretch, admittedly.

Glad you liked it! Mandukar seems to be growing quite a following.

If you run it, please let me know how it went.

Thanks! Mandukar seems to be a big hit with a lot of people. Did I accidentally create a real cult?

Thanks! This was a fun one to write. I kept clicking on random Unsplash images until I came across a frog (not the one in the cover photo). That's what gave me the idea for the whole thing.

I have a feeling Mandukar will return in another adventure. Maybe I'll eventually squeeze a whole campaign out of this.

I appreciate you reading and commenting!

Thanks for reading! I really wanted to throw a fun swerve into this one, and I'm glad you dig it. I might be tempted to bring Mandukar back, or possibly some sort of "Son of Mandukar" character.

Surprisingly they're frequently available on Amazon. Last time I put out a cassette release, I ordered my cases and blank tapes from a company called Delta Media. You can also get nifty cassette USB drives that come in their own tape cases. Then you can keep your TTRPG collection on the USB drive, with Crustpunk Dungeons as the cover art.

My solo RPG Cult of the Drive-in was released about three weeks ago. It puts you in the shoes of a drive-in movie theater curator. Every weekend, you'll select films and possibly special events to go along with them. The game is a love letter to drive-ins and cult cinema.

You'll need a deck of cards with Jokers, a 6-sided die, a 10-sided die, pencils and paper. You'll pick out movies for an entire summer, from Memorial Day to Labor Day (and if you live outside of the U.S., there are provisions for that, too).

Working on this game had me remembering movies I hadn't thought of in ages. I hope it does the same for you.

Thanks for saying that. Also check out Crustpunk Dungeons if you haven't already.

Hi! Thanks again for reaching out! I responded on Instagram, but the answer is yes. Thanks so much again, and please let me know when the zine is out.

Thanks so much! I was aiming more for "early 90s punk rock album insert." But whatever vibes you're getting from this, I'm glad they're good ones.

I chose D8s because I felt like there was just enough of a chance for combos, pairs, triples, etc. I had considered 10s or even 12s, but mathematically, the system made the most sense (to me) with eight-sided dice.

You know what? You're right. The robber should have been depleted down to one. This is what I get for writing stuff at 2 am.

I'll publish a revision later. Thanks!

Thanks for the kind words! I'm actually considering doing a cassette case RPG jam sometime in the future. I'm the meantime, I'd love to see what you come up with.

This is giving me some late 90s zine vibes, and I'm all about that.

Getting real Jet Grind Radio vibes from this, in the best way.

I love the trifold format here, and the black-on-red art. Really helps sell the vibe.

This is by far one of the best concepts for a game I've seen. Also, on a semi-related note, Hostess is doing us a disservice by no longer running these ads (and by not bringing back TMNT pies).

Thanks so much!

The thought had crossed my mind to do maybe a "zine" edition of the rule set - maybe 4 pages (double sided page folded once).

When I finish "Cult of the Drive-in," I may revisit the idea.
