Awesome little game! Loved the concept and though it took me a couple attempts to get the hang of it, I think the controls and mechanics are good.

I'd love to see an expanded entry with additional levels which get harder. Perhaps the teacher moves between desks or class size increases?

The 3D environment was just lovely and the music was sublime. Really good entry

Awesome little game. Reminded me of flash games from the before times! Also really liked the inclusion of a high score board on the side. Gave me some more motivation to try again and get my name further up the board

It was suitably difficult and I loved the aesthetic. No music for me in browser version though. Unsure if its on my end or yours.

Loved it! Concept was interesting and the difficulty ramped up quickly. Music was pretty good for your first attempt

I had trouble with the browser version. Tried Brave and it crashed, and Safari caused it to reload due to memory issues. May be a godot - web issue but something to check for if you develop the game further.

Challenging is certainly the word! I didnt get far but I loved the concept and execution. I liked how the hazards were presented in a spaced out manner, then the difficulty increased. Very good game

Let me start by saying I love the presentation! Art style gives me 90s DOS vibes and oozes charm. I loved the aesthetic once the lights went out and thought the flashlight mechanic was well done.

The side scroller aspect for a quest/puzzle game is not one I would think of first, but I think it worked well here.

Unfortunately I couldn't get particularly far.  I kept getting caught by one of the shadow monsters as soon as entering the hallway scene. I tried several times but couldnt manage to enter the scene without immediately dying.

On top of which, the controls were not particularly intuitive. I couldnt figure out interact or how to get upstairs on my own, having to reference the game page. I'd suggest maybe using 'W' an input option to go up the stairs if you decide to revisit the game.

Overall a positive experience, let down by a difficult to impossible section I couldnt get past and unintuitive controls.

For a first project, I think you guys should feel proud. I'd be eager to play the game again if theres some updates

Thank you for the kind words! We actively tried to pour as much charm and humour as we could in the space of 2 weeks and I think we did fairly well at fleshing out the protagonist.

You're right that in retrospect we could probably remove prompts into/out of buildings for the most part. We also identified a few edge cases where the camera was a bit too zoomed in and fixed a bunch of them, but the lack of time I think prevented us from fixing them all.

I'm glad you had a good time with our little game :)

Wow this is a really fun, if difficult game. Loved everything about it, from the simplicity in artwork, to the hints of sinister story. Loved the way new enemy block types were introduced and demonstrated before puzzles then start being built around them.

Chefs kiss!

A really neat little game and experience. Loved the interpretation of the theme and the overall presentation just oozes charm. The level of polish was honestly, top notch.

Kudos my dude. Keep it up

Had a quick play and I enjoyed what was on offer for the most part. Animations and the background music were pretty good!

The control scheme had me a bit confused initially. I think mouse click or a key further to the right wouldf have worked better for attack. It also wasnt clear what I had to do. I ended up stuck at the bottom part of the level and couldnt get back up. I tried again and defeated the boss dude, then went down and killed the rest of the enemies and collected the gold thing, but nothing else happened. If theres a second level I couldnt find it.

A valiant effort though. I appreciate you guys are all new to game dev so you get full kudos from me for getting a mostly working thing done in time.

Keep it up guys!

Loved the concept, but had difficulty with the controls. Colour switching felt clunky

Loved it! WEll thought out and perfectly packaged little game. Completed it and want to play again. Keep it up !

Thanks for taking a look :)
