Jace wakes up in a cave a little disoriented. He has lost track of time but remembers that he is looking for his wife. The thing is, that his wife had died 7 months earlier. Jace returns to the place where they first kissed. The tree. which once brightened up the woods, was old and withered. As Jace is looking for the initials carved on the tree, he spots somebody standing behind a a tree. As Jace begins to call out to the person, the earth starts to shake. Everything turns to black. When Jace finally comes to and opens his eyes, the tree is green again. Flowers are bursting from every branch. The thing is, that now the rest of the trees in the woods are dead.
