sorry yeah...

Wh@T? What was the warning ?

Great game ! Check mine out too : https://bovgames.itch.io/last-droid-standing

PS: Sorry that there isn't any webGL support, it woulden't work, BUT I DID  export to windows, linux AND mac, so you shooouuuld be able play it...

Hey so far the materials that they already have look good!

Noho wayyy ! Love the progress you've made! Art takes time and those level props and other look great !

If anything , if you're still not done with the art side of things, then make all the assets if you want, but if you don't have time DON'T feel bad about reusing code from other projects! There are soooo many others who do so...

Like the concept alot ! And great pixel art !!!

Yeah but that's a bit overscoped ;)

Of course ! Trust me I do that alot...

Good luck with yours too ! I'm bov and I finished my submission so if you have any problems with your ue5 feel free to ask !

There were never any rules on how many dimensions !

Been doing Unity for a year and this is my first game jam ! But for those who are doing next year's gamedev.tv jam don't be suprised if I'm using Unreal ! Because yes, I'm doing it I'm switching to Unreal for a handful of reasons. We will see how much I'll have learned by next game jam ;)

Technically it's just as if the person who left is the owner of a free asset you found in that case so I don't think it will get you disqualified or anything.

Well you would have edit it as I'm pretty sure that they said in the kickoff stream that by "free asset" they meant something that's free AND that someone else can use, but in your case it would just be considered reused stuff whitch is always allowed because everyone does it at this point it's annoying me.

I think the most desired one would be webGL but if you can't, try Mac/Linux/Windows. Those are in my opinion the ones that will get you the most people to actually be able to play the game, especially the judges.

That's just great to hear ! I understand your goal and why you would want to, I usually always do everything myself too. But for that IF you don't have time, or if you're stuck, feel free to ask, I don't have as much Unreal knowledge as you, but I'm a fast learner and while you working on something else I can real quickly find the answer to your problems at any point !

PS : Love that new enemy you added !

Great idea and progress ! What game engine are you using ?

Still learning Unreal-Engine!!!

BTW, if you want my advice on keeping your body in tact, I recommend that you divide your progress in to smaller tasks and also, dont feel bad to use assets ! In fact, what you could do is find an asset of 3D model you need that somewhat matches your artstyle, then re-texture/re-color it !

Oh yeah thanks but don't worry, if I learned Unity and was able to make a post-apocalyptic area51-style FPS in 3 days for this game jam, I'm pretty sure switching to Unreal should be a bit easier than if I was just starting out.

PS: Youre game is still gettting real cool progress ! I love it !

My day was cool, like I said I already fininshed  and submitted my game, but I'm taking the advice you told me me and finally moving to Unreal and learning it ! I'm working my way through a tutorial by Gorka Games, very great tutorial in my opinion  !

Got It !

Thanks for the advice ! But I will try C++ at somepoint as I actually already have experience and have coded in C++ before and I'm pretty good at it !

I finished and submitted my game, I think it's rather  good(it's a post-apocalyptic area51-style fps), love your progress, gmae dev can be hard, especially when you're stressed out because of a deadline or other. I see you're using Unreal, awsome ! I use Unity but I want to move to Unreal very soon, infact, I litteraly participated in the game jam to get an Unreal course to learn it !
