Really solid work, I definitely enjoyed this one a LOT

Fun but I honestly couldn't figure out how to win a single battle 🥲

Honestly, I loved every part of this except the actual gameplay. It just didn't feel that fun to me and also seemed a little buggy where I would hold down a key and it would take a moment to respond. I'm not sure if I was making a mistake or if it was just laggy, but it wasn't super clear. Anyways with such cute little characters and art, I would've liked to see gameplay that centered more around that, but overall, I really like the tone and vibes.

In terms of games I've played in this game jam, this might be one of my favorites.

Original, not so much, but Fun-- 100%. I love these kind of games, and the movement and shooting felt very satisfying. I think the game would benefit to having alternate/worse options than damage, since I just built enough damage to quickly clear all of the mobs every time, it felt like as long as you could aim it wasn't that hard. I think having other enemy types or challenges would make it more fun, but overall, really fun submission!

I find the cover art highly suspicious of looking like AI generation and the itch.io page looks like it's also straight from chatgpt. As far as the gameplay goes, maybe I'm stupid but I couldn't figure out how to get past the tutorial?

I loved this, I feel like I could just keep playing this for hours. Roguelike farming is actually insanely fun

These puzzles were amazing! I really enjoyed it, and managed to beat all the levels. The only negatives were the sound effects were super annoying, but as far as solving fun little puzzles I give this a solid 10/10

Super fun game! I've left you some feedback via your survey but I just wanted to say once again, this is seriously awesome! I really enjoyed it. I was able to beat the level with this simple node set up, but it took me 150 seconds. I'm assuming that wasn't the intent, but it's the only way I could figure it out without getting overwhelmed.

Final level

I’m Jared N, I work in the animation industry doing 2D concept and illustration as well as being a 3D character and environment artist. Can make game ready characters, weapons, environment, etc. I’ve only dabbled in animation, but I’m confident I can make stuff look good and come together on that front. I have a minor amount of coding experience (made a few basic games/dark souls clones, etc) but overall I’m not that strong at that part of the pipeline. Here’s a link to my portfolio for those interested:

I’m also really interested in the Game Design side of things, enough that my wife and I made a board game together and illustrated it (she’s a professional character designer/illustrator as well). If you partner up with me, there’s a good chance we’ll get some work out of her too, and she’s even better than I am.

I work a full time job, but aside from that, my only hobby is game dev and weightlifting, so I would probably be open to spend a fair bit of time working on this (3-5 hours per day)

I’m open to working on any types of games, but I prefer games where I get to draw crazy weapons and cool characters! In terms of games I play, I’m a sucker for top down ARPG mechanics (Diablo or league) and survival crafting games!! I’m open to 2D or 3D pipeline, but definitely leaning more heavily on the 3D side, since even though I’m good at 2D art, I kinda hate doing it :)

I would prefer to do something reallllllyyyyy small in scope and then make it super polished, since I’m a firm believer in gameplay/game feel first and foremost before additional content.

I’ll throw my name in here in case you’re still looking for a partner, I’m Jared, I’m an 2d concept artist and 3D artist (characters and environments). I currently work professionally in the animation industry and use unreal in my work pipeline so I’m pretty familiar to it! I’d love to collaborate on a project together, since coding is definitely my weakness (like you I can do most of the other parts of the pipeline at a basic level). Honestly sounds like we’d be a pretty good team together so hit me up if you’re interested!
