Man, I don’t have dyslexia, but it’s really hard to read Russian letters being used incorrectly in English words when you actually speak Russian. It creates some kind of cognitive dissonance in my brain, haha. This one is the worst craziest I’ve seen so far, I'd even say it's a linguistic crime right here, especially using Ц as U!
No offense though, wish you all the best!!
Hello,
I'm encountering persistent upload issues on my project.
This is happening even with very small files (e.g., a 76kb .png file), so I know it's not a file size limit. It seems like the uploader service might be having issues.
- Game Build: When I tried to upload my new game build directly from my PC, I received the error: "There was a problem completing your upload." I was able to work around this by using the Dropbox upload option instead.
- Devlog Images: Now, I am trying to create a new devlog post, but I cannot upload any images. Every time I try, I get an "Upload failed" or "Please check the information you provided" error. The issue is not only related to devlog, I cannot upload any files from my pc to itch at all, including this discussion.
I'm using Windows11. The issue appears both in the Web version of the site and the app.
I'm often using vpn, because some services are banned in my region, like discord, if that could potentially cause the issue.
I tried different browsers, incognito mode and other devices, nothing works.
Has anyone else experienced this or found a solution? Thank you.
This game has some of the best art design I’ve seen so far! The gameplay mechanics were really creative , especially the enemies that move when you’re not looking and the use of mirror. Everything felt so well made, and I didn’t encounter any bugs at all. The music was great, and even the menu looked beautiful. Fantastic work , seriously impressive job!
Very well made game! What I loved about it the most is the style for sure. I liked these black and white tones going on. The gameplay itself felt like a maze. Go to the right route, and everything is going to be perfectly fine. Also very nice art showing the story at the beginning. I was definitely scary though! Did not expect those creatures to kill me as soon as they see me, haha.
As a big fan of Silent Hill games, here's my hones feedback after playing this game.
What I personally liked is the sound design! As soon as I heard the menu sound I knew what this all was about. The puzzles weren't hard but still pretty fun. The level design, and camera angles are amazing! However I had some problems playing your game.
First and most noticeable are the controls. After switching angles i felt very confusing to walk in the right direction. Fighting suffers for the same reason, sometimes you just struggle with proper positioning of you character. Maybe if You'd add gamepad controls, it would make it better.
Also I had a problem at the room right after the first save, where I'd go somewhere out of screen, and just stuck. I can hear step sounds, even if I'm idle in this case. I can't return and had to restart the game two times.
Enemy AI is also very weird. Enemies would start attacking you, then run away, then come back. Maybe it is intentional. I actually have no idea how to do enemy ai, let's be honest, I'm very new to gem dev, and still learning, though .
Anyway, I don't know if you're planning on developing this game, but I think that it has a great potential to become a very solid game, with some changes, bug fixes and maybe a big expansion! All in all great game and You made an amazing job!!
Hello there! I would love if you play and rate my game https://itch.io/jam/scream-jam-2025/rate/3952556
Your game seems to be some kind of Silent Hill inspired project, which is one of my favorite games!
This game is great. It’s super stressful in the best way, having to fix the engine as fast as possible really keeps the tension high. I loved how well-made everything felt, from the cutscenes to the gameplay. It definitely made me feel rushed and on edge. It’s not really scary in the traditional sense, but it is stressful and tense, that fear of the army catching you before you finish fixing the car really works. Awesome job!
Thank you for your amazing feedback! I'm glad you enjoyed the game!! I was going to add subtitles, but I couldn't figure out how to make them at the moment , so I had to leave it as it is, unfortunately. Loved your game btw, I didn't have time to write a proper comment, but just know that your game was definitely in my top 5 games I played on this jam so far :)
The feeling of actually being inside the space suit was amazing, the movement, the heart rate, and the air mechanics all added so much immersion. It felt very polished and smooth to play. I kind of wish it had been a bit scarier, maybe something like an alien creature in a cave or a moment of real danger, but I get that it’s more of a psychological horror, and it pulled that off really well. Overall, I just loved this game. Great job!
Very nice game that I personally can relate to. I'm from the very cold region, and we often have to chop wood to hear our houses, so there's basically that, haha. I had some problems accessing the game itself though. It would be great if you could add a web version or zip a windows version, so it is downloadable directly via itch app. Other than that, good game, amazing work :D
Hello, here's my game https://itch.io/jam/scream-jam-2025/rate/3952556
I hope you enjoy it!
This one was actually scary! Even though, nothing actually happens throughout the game you always feel in danger. The sounds are crazy good. The idea to shift between day and night worlds is amazing. The only thing that I would suggest is to add brightness settings, cause it was very hard to see, at leas for me. Anyway amazing game, interesting story, well done!
