This game needs like a rogue-like reward system after every fight and it would be *chef's kiss*

Interesting visual novel game with minigames interspersed. Mini games are alright but like many reviewers noted, a bit confusing. Humour is hit and miss at times. Still, had a decent time with it.

Presentation is unique and cool. I like the ability to build stuff (such as save points or heal) and then destroy if you accidentally blocked your path. Gameplay is simple but the exploration is what keeps the players engaged.

Thanks for playing! I put way too much effort on art and making units and not enough time polishing and bug testing at the end but I guess that's the way of the game jam. Thanks for playing!

Boomy plays: A week at Restart games
Overall, fairly enjoyable experience. I know the theme of "beyond expectations" is really vague but I wasn't expecting combat based on the first 10 seconds of the game. I love the theme (gives me strong vibes since I also work in retail) and I love how it was all executed. I also like how the final boss (I won't spoil it) is kinda cliche but also manages to draw camaraderie. I liked all the small talk between turns in battles and the storybuilding between scenes.

The game is kind of short at about 20 minutes; I'm sure I could've pushed the play time more if I didn't 'run' from so many encounters and talked to more NPCs. Browser play was smooth and seamless.

Well there's a windows version.

The browser version works fine for me as well as a few others that have played tested though I admit I did have issues deploying it on the web.

Nice interesting but a bit frustrating to play especially waiting for the planets to rotate. I agree there is probably no need for fruit expiration; feels a bit like overcooked.

Great concept. If you expanded the idea, I would make it easier to change the layout/configuration of blue guys. Sometimes you get 20 red bullets in the warehouse and it takes forever for the little blue guys to clear them out and replace with bullets of a different type

I would use arrow  keys to move; its hard  to press WASD and space at the same time. I would also maybe put an indicator (like press space to grab) when the player is near a battery / plug

First Attempt: Died
Second Attempt: 3 mins 12 seconds
Decent submission. Android version works a treat
Simple mechanics. The neko is cute but is an RNG machine
The boss hits pretty hard and I only won the second attempt thanks to RNG (everyone was dead and Max was on 1HP)

First attempt: 16 minutes 11 seconds
Very polished entry and some good core mechanics with the stagger system. This entry would've benefited a lot with some deeper explanations of the mechanics (which unfortuantely is not allowed as a restriction of this submission) as it would have sped up the amount of time spent on defeating the dragon
