I don't think any of the currently existsing classes fit Hara's character fantasy. She's an engineer who's good with her hands and gadgets, making her a robe wearing, staff weilding mage feels a bit strange, so I got an idea for a class that would fit her well, which could also be used as a racial class for Goblins and Gomes
Ballistician - increases Wit and Physical, gives access to three abilities; Preprequisite - Engineer
Calculated Shot - Passive. Increases Damage Dealt when wielding a crossbow based on Wit stat
Bombardment (can only be used when equipped with a crossbow) (costs 1 unstable concoction) - deals Physical Elemental damage to every enemy in a row
Armament Preparation - Choose which element will be used by Bombardment skill. Does not take turn to activate (functions similarly to Elemental Weapon or Spell Tacing)

Strive: Conquest community » Bugs and Suggestions · Created a new topic I think the game might use some melee focused companions
Most of the game's combat-oriented companions are mages of some-kind. I think it would be nice to have more companions who are desinged to either be spellblades or pure physical fighters. Maybe some Bandit Queen who you can capture after finishing a unique dungeon, a wandering sellsword who you hire (who can be tricked by PC into becoming their property) or an enemy knight (I'm yet to reach act 4 but I assume at some point the player will end up in conflict with the Empire, so maybe you end up capturing one of their high-ranking officers and making them your slave)
