Quite some time has passed, but I want to inform you that the game in question is finished. We opted to participate with it in the MSXdev24 competition of which you can find a link here.  In the end it became a 128kb ROM, honoring the 8 bit system typicals of back in the day.

Hi Balloon Cart,

I took the liberty to use this asset pack to develop a match 3 type of game on the MSX2 system. Work is still in progress and youtube clip can be found here.  I will keep you posted once a more finalized version is ready. 

Thanks for sharing this asset pack, it definitely helps in development when graphics are already available.
