Saving this for later since this may help me with a zine idea in the far off future!

I also featured your game in my essay in the later half briefly. If you would like to see it, the time stamp is in the video!

This game is such an awesome concept and I love the art too. I really love how I could plug this into another game especially ones with huge dungeons and hex crawls. I could even see myself using a monster table from some old school dnd modules I have lying around. Great game and with an more awesome premise!
I love creating big funny explosions in my rpgs. This is even more fun when ti is on suspecting crews/people. There is something extremely cathartic about an active mechanic that makes you tear your character into pieces.
Final point, the variety of bags is really fun and vile in the best way possible. My personal favorites being the Nap Time Bomb! and Bib Bubble Bomb!
This game is perfectly funny and captures the chaos goblin that we all deserve to be.
Phasebreak Syndrome looks really freaking cool. I love the many relevant prompts on the secondary page. My favorite one being: A dimension with no visual art. Also the aesthetic is really awesome, with the key visuals of using b&w heads.
I can definitely see the fun in playing out this journalling game too with others.
I absolutely love the tables to this game and the concept of story loops and action loops. It is not something I have seen before. I like how it really streamlines the game. There is a procedure to everything.
Honestly the tables alone are a great selling point especially as someone who plays a lot of OSR games.
Also I think there is an error on the itch.io page. You mean Rogue & Dagger as the title of the game but say "Rogue & Dungeon".
Otherwise awesome game and I am excited to play this more with others in the future hopefully.
I have to say this game concept is super novel and incredibly endearing. I love especially on the back page, you include all of the rules in a simple and easy to read manner. On top of that each of these pages are color coded so that nothing looks repetitive and every aspect of this micro journal rpg stands out. I had fun journalling about my productivity game on the play store.
It reminded me how important leaving a review is and how much fun it can be. It is really amazing how you took a simple idea that we take for granted on the internet and gamified it. Seriously kudos Koke RPGs!
I am reading through this and the dyanimics of the pilot and Nepholem are glorious. There is something extremely sensual, beautiful and hot about the pilot being a necessity for the Nepholem while also being puny and unnecssary. The teasing of the power imbalance on both sides really is freaking amazing.
Also I learned a new word too: Nepholem (and I love it).
No I GREATLY appreciate all constructive criticism. I struggled a lot with this manifesto/writing project. I am not used to writing like this or this creatively so this was a big change of pace for me. I often think a lot about game design and theory and all of this high fulant concepts sometimes. It can be super overwhelming. I realized that sometimes its importance to keep the things you love simple and then complicate further as you need to for your life.
Sometimes simple is a great starting point and I hope it helps others <3.
When I read this part:
"Build up a flame. Drive back the dark." I stood there a few minutes taking in the words. I realized that damn, if we don't catalog our experiences and build something for future and present gamers, what will we have to be remembered by?
What will people be able to recall about our stories and the creative work, if there is nothing to be found? Thank you for this sharp call to action to build something, even if it is not the strongest flame. I will help combat the dark, even if it is difficult.
Michael, I have been playing this game on and off for a while now. It has been on my mind and it is one of the few games that uses a Consumer Aesthetic explicitly as something core to the game. It gave me time to reflect on my experiences and as a result turned into a video essay.
Seriously thank you for making this lovely game. Also I am now a big fan of art dice thanks to your work.
I just finished playing this game Adam and it was absolutely glorious. It was like sitting down for a conversation with friends talking about the highlights of our lives. It felt like my heart was unraveling in this sadness and joy. It really was a bundle of joy and sorrow and I hope others play this brilliant game as well.
Thank you so much.
I love how you emphasize the importance of game components outside of traditional ones like dice can really affect the feel of the game. I was thinking about this with lyrical games especially since I haven't played any as of yet. I definitely gotta look at more lyrical games in the future especially after reading this.
