The latest expansion to the hit solo journalling game Apothecaria is finally here! Travel to the distant Warm Rocks to help cure the local saurians of their various fantasy ailments as you also work to clear your name for a crime you probably didn't commit.

Explore volcanos, colourful rainforests, the hunting grounds of a dragon, crystalline caverns, and more as you look for new Reagents, face new Challenges, and do your best to recover the kidnapped dragonlings!

Like all Apothecaria expansions, Dragon's Lair can be added in to your game at any point!

To fit into the required page count I collapsed Reagent locations into their Standard Locale and their counterpart. So Cloud Isles are an extension of Moonbreaker Mountains (sort of) so all the Cloud Isles Reagents are listed on that page. It could be clearer but the old witch wasn't great at labelling things.

The Locations listed on each Reagent are what matters, not the header at the top of the page.

The intention for all my games is to shuffle the cards back in as soon as is convenient. So if you get an Event during Foraging and you resolve it, you shuffle the card back into the deck. If you get an event and it has another Card Draw inside it, you draw again. Once you're done, you shuffle all the cards back in.

The point is to keep the odds as close to static as possible.

You can keep using the hyper-jump! As for the middle Hex column, you skip over that instead of travelling through it. I need to make that clearer in the rules. Because that column disappears into the fold of the book, we decided to leave it as is rather than blacking it out but it is supposed to be ignored.

I'm actually working on 3 expansions right now as part of the Kickstarter campaign stretch goals! 

One is basically done sans art and is called Love & Lust. It centres around romance, family structures, relationships, and intimacy and how the different alien species in your setting might express of experience such things.

Next up is A Guide To Fauna which is a xenozoology centric expansions where you can help ferry animals off of a doomed planet and have to fill out Species Files for them to work out what planet they would be best suited on.

And finally, War! is an all out galactic war between the Unified and the Free. It adds a tonne of new combat focused mechanics and Missions and lets players either join in on the war or try to remain outside of it.

I have plans for other expansions as well but that's the what's coming out hopefully before February.
