that's odd. is your device some sort of windows tablet pc or a regular pc/laptop?

I can't seem to reproduce the issue. What browser are you running it in? Could you try switching to an other browser and see if that solves your issue?

I uploaded a new build that fixes the scroll wheel, it works like a browser page scroll now. Seems like a lot of people were having an issue with it, so I just made it the default.

The "cheating" is by design. I'm trying to accommodate two play styles at the same time, idle and more active one. I know some people will just let the game run in the background without interacting much with it and that's totally fine. And I also know some, like yourself, will like to play more actively so I'm trying to give fitting rewards to those who put extra effort in. Hope you enjoyed your playthrough!

After getting a bunch of comments about the scroll wheel I decided to just invert it by default. The new version is up. Thanks for pointing it out!

Thank you for covering it in your video! It's always interesting to see other people playing the game.

You know I got so used to it I didn't even think it could be considered backwards. I'll add an option to the settings to invert the scroll wheel.

You know, I never considered that either, nice observation. Hope you had a great time playing the demo!

Glad you liked it!

Issue should be fixed now. Thank you once again for bringing it up.

Thank you for letting me know! Seems like there's an issue with how the game is fuillscreened, seems like all the colliders got offset somehow. I'll fix it as soon as possible.
There is a workaround if you don't wanna wait for a fix:

  • Tap on the steam logo, that should open up the settings menu.
  • In the settings menu tap on the fullscreen text, that should set the fullscreen correctly and you should be able to play the game normally.

Workaround 2:

  • Press back in the pull out android menu
  • Press "Restore game" in the itch player

Neat game, love the retro feel! And it's always nice to see my assets put to good use. (^_^)b

Thank you! ^^
