Weird. I can't make this happen. Could you tell me more about this (which step, encounter, etc..)
Also, some enemy attack will reduce your armor (can make it into negative) and all bonus armor from guard will be gone when battle ended

Killing monster, choosing perk and upgrades, get to the deepest part on the drak. A run only take about 5-15 minutes.
