Collecting 16k is not possible in the demo version of the game. This is entierly my fault, and a consequence of the cursed development cycle of this game.

As a workaround, there is a cheat to unlock it. Open the console with F2, and type in "skip drag2" and press enter. That will satisfy the criteria for unlocking that ending.

I don't want to update the demo again, since I risk breaking it even worse, consider this the intended sollution for now.

I am so sorry. I just checked and this version of the game, was released due to a bug that would completely break loading on machines that took more than a (literal) second to start. Since this was really bad, I quickly pushed an update. However, the game at that time, had a P requirement of 16k gold, which is impossible in the demo version of the game, leaving it in a bad spot.

I will update the demo once more, when the next (and final) patch for the game is done, which should be in a few weeks.

Its certainly doable but quite difficult. You need 8000 to beat the game, each screen has 500 in it, which means you need 16 full room clears. However big chest sometimes have an emerald in them, that are worth 500 on their own. You have time over to get grabbed, diving into a potential partner and invoke the safeword is almost always faster than waiting for them to move out of the way.

As far as a challenge goes, its probably too stingy, I just rather test and see, and increase the time, than reduce it.

The filled with egg stacks kinda looks like baked beans.

The newer version should be more optimized, not less. I did profile the game last month and it should run on a potato so there might be some compatibility issues if anything, especially if it does not start at all. Ill look into it.

So, I think there isn't enough treasure on the map to get a P rank right now, making the gallery impossible to fully unlock. im sorry about this, Ill make sure to fix it by the next version.

I think, I managed to solve the problem the other night caused by slow loading times. Just a piece of really bad code that bricks the game if the stage loaded slowly for whatever reason. Which is why it worked properly after loading it the first time, everything was already cached so it loads faster.

The fix is on the test version on the full game, but it will be pushed into the demo sometime in the future.

And there is certainly more content comming. Dont know when or how much. But were going deeper.

the latest test version of the game resolved an issue that caused crashes on loading into the stage for the first time. Hopefully that adresses the issue.

Godot 4.7 is adding better support for handheld. So its not impossible Ill work on an android version.

Okay, well I have tried ripping out custom shaderes in the test build now. I can only imagine that beeing the actual cause for the crash, if this does not work, Ill have to spend some serious time figuring out how to track down this error. Also, I reccomend making sure your drivers are up to date.

I have uploaded a new version of the game called windows-test, which uses a different graphics engine, see if that helps.

This is almost certainly a hardware compability issue, I have some suspicion on what might cause it. There should be a logfile in \AppData\Roaming\Godot\app_userdata\Nitz Debt\logs, if you could get a copy of that for me, it would be very helpful.

The rooms in the map are randomly fitted together. Ill look over the different segments and see if I can figure out what configuration you got that caused this softlock.

I am not really sure I like it. The only thing I figured out that work was ugprading your starting resources, stack card draw, buy two extra turns and be on the look out for strong cards lategame.

Whenever I tried to get fancy, buy resources or card that have synergies, I end up with a bloated deck that falls appart entierly if I dont draw the correct combination of cards, and with so few turns to draw what you need, and so many cards in your base that just turns into filler, its almost impossible to get them rolling.

Ah, yeah, it did indeed fix itself when the log got flushed. Ive been doing a lot in the game since and I dont remember what I was doing at the time before the error unfortunately, I thought I separated out the savefile but I messed up. I'm so sorry.

So I got a broken savefile somehow. Bringing up the log locks the game and says cant read property of null. Id send you the savefile but I dont know where to find it, and where to send it.

Its an old game, before unity got gamepads figured out, I think they might have fixed it now, but I dont know, Unity is not good software. But basically you map by button number, and different gamepads have their buttons in different order. More modern software (like godot), let you map to the button location and translates it for whatever gamepad you got.

That claim sounds a bit extreme but yeah, stuffs like that is a big part of why I wanna diversify by selling it through other vendors. The most basic way to protect yourself is to not have a single entity that controls your entire ability to live.

Yehoow! Got to stage 6! This does seem like it has a lot of potential. It is fun as it is, but I wish there was a way to keep a combo going, you know. Spinning for the boost is great, but your ability to keep going is entierly down to fate.
