I’m so happy you thought it was very SPIG! I tried to have the bugs form naturally by breaking every best practice in programming imaginable, and then when I did find bugs, I mostly didn’t fix them. The only bug I fixed was one that could cause epilepsy after a game over. There was also this one bug which just happened to be under an if statement, which allowed me to crash the game at will.
Also, here’s a signpost on the boss:

This is a really well made and polished game! I played through the game a few times and I think I found all of the easter eggs, though I had this feeling that there must be more to the game. It almost makes me wish the terminal bug tracker system was a real thing, it looks like it would be fun to use. Also, the game has some really great sound effects

This was a fun game! My high score was 74 (On the web version), I never managed to keep more than two in for the air though. The music and animation was very well done!

Thanks! Similar to the code, I used the first take of (almost) all the voice lines. Also I love how you’re coming up with theories related to the game! There’s definitely some implied lore I have in there.

This was awesome to play at 5 FPS on integrated graphics lol, votebot didn’t stand a chance. That is, right up until my pistol crashed the game. On my second attempt I got to mechstachio but only landed one hit, and that hit only did 8 damage. (Maybe because of the 5 FPS deltaTime) The special thanks map ran perfectly though. I was running the game through WINE on Linux, so that might’ve had something to do with it. I’ll try it on windows properly later. A very spiggy game made spiggier by extremely low framerates.

This game is super unique! It reminds me of text adventure games, while also having graphics. It was a lot of FUN 0.05kW trying out all the different paths! Also the music was great and fit the game really well

I’m rich! $591 sbiggy dollars!
Before I figured out how the scissors worked, I kept deleting the entire cloth and getting an F, but this game makes failing fun! The animations and sound effects are so funny!
Also the credits sequence is great!

Awesome!
Here’s a hint on the boss: (As a poem because why not)
The knowledge has been lost to time, only Roger has the line, then swing the sword and you’ll be fine. To win, you must strike from within. It is damaging to try, but a stash of potions will see you by.

Thanks! All the voice acting was done in the last four hours of the game jam with a terrible microphone and help from my friend The Magical Ma.

This was a fun game! I think it ended up being a game that is so good it’s just good. The art, music, and story are all great!

Thanks for trying to run my game! What browser are you using? I’ve tested it with Chrome and Firefox. I just edited the settings on itch and turned off “Run Automatically on Page Load,” does it work now?

I didn’t realize you could click to defeat enemies for a while, so I kept dying to the minions repeatedly. Once I figured out the controls it was actually kind of fun, while also being infuriating at the same time. Maybe you should add the controls to the itch page.

I think the music choice is very sbiggy, a little weird while also being good.

By the way, I played your game on Linux.

Feather corn is op lol, I love this game

The game as a whole is very great and polished

Also, mixing unstable and bomb corn creates an explosion so powerful it destroys reality lol

I love how the hit_corn function is recursive

I loved the music!

I’m glad the odds aligned in your favor

I love the vine growing mechanic!

How did you get the vines to tile so perfectly even when it’s turning?

Try using WSL to run this on Windows

I don’t think they are able to upload an updated build.

It’s a pretty fun game!

Moving around as a cube which is being evicted is very fun!
