Hi! Sorry for the late reply, there were some issues with the website. I added some Steam keys to the game on here, so now you should be able to claim yours by clicking a "request key" button.

Whoa, this is awesome. So much attention to detail! You really put a lot of effort into this. Is it okay if I make a post about it on social media or something?

Thanks! Sure, if you wanna romhack the game yourself and know how to do it, go ahead.

Not part of the Kickstarter campaign itself, but the original versions of the games featured here were in fact part of the campaign and are being produced for a physical release!

Galacard: Ackian Archives is all about Galacard, the traditional card game of the inhabitants of Planet Ack. This collection includes three different versions of the game:

  • Galacard (2024) - The basic Galacard experience
  • Galacard Platinum (2024) - Featuring an item shop and a new win system
  • Galacard Advance (2025) - Includes extra modes and different backgrounds

Galacard is all about strategy. Each player gets a turn where they have to choose the Starting Card. This card defines what card shape they want the other players to use on that turn. There's also a shape in the middle called Power Card, which overrides the Starting Card if anyone plays it. Whoever plays the highest card with the dominant shape wins the turn. To clear a round, you must get exactly as many wins as your goal.

Galacard: Ackian Archives contains enhanced versions of the original games, featuring new music and balanced difficulty. Galacard might look complex at first, but if you're willing to practice, you'll find yourself having tons of fun very soon. Are you ready for the complete Galacard experience?

Glad you like it!

Hey, thank you so much for the feedback! An interview sounds fun, do you have Twitter/X or BlueSky?

Galacard Platinum is a full color followup to Galacard, an alien-themed card game for the Game Boy. Your goal is to get the highest number that matches the shape of the first card in each turn. To advance to the next round, you must finish it with the exact same number of wins as the goal that you set at the start. There is also a card in the middle known as the Power Card [PC], which has an advantage over the other shapes and adds a whole new layer of strategy to the game. Platinum adds a shop that allows you to buy helpful items in exchange for wins, and the aliens you compete against, called Ackians, are now given randomly assigned names and cute hats. What's the highest score you can get? Play Galacard Platinum and find out!

Galacard is a Game Boy card game where you play against some aliens on Planet Ack. The rules might sound complicated at first, but they're actually pretty simple:

Each player starts their turn by drawing a Starting Card from their deck. Each card contains a number and a shape, but the other players can only see the latter. Your goal is to be the first player in the turn to get the highest number with a card of the same shape.  There's also a card in the middle of the playfield called the Power Card. Drawing a card with that shape gives you an advantage even over the most powerful Starting Card, but just like with the latter, the highest one always wins. To clear a round, you must win the exact same amount of times as the goal you chose. If you're still lost, make sure to check out the Galacard Strategy Guide!

In Anctrayl, which runs on real Game Boy hardware and emulators, you play through twelve levels inspired by Sokoban, but with some elements of Snake and a minimalistic aesthetic. Instead of eating fruit, the snake must place a box over a goal to grow in lenght. The game requires good reflexes due to its focus on fast and precise inputs. Be careful! A hit means an instant game over, and Anctrayl only saves your progress every four stages. Enjoy!
