Thank you for your words! Actually Godot's video support was more or less straightforward, it's just that it doesn't support MP4 files so I had to convert the video to OGV which ended up making the video pretty choppy at first so I had to find a reliable way of converting the video file format without messing it up ahaha

And thanks for the tip, I'll definitely look into the mouse locking issue next time. It's a pretty weird bug that sometimes pops up, and sometimes doesn't. Hmm.. a challenge for next time!

Loved the ingredients memorization idea! Overall very cool game with a dark atmosphere, thank you for making it :))

Thanks for playing! Regarding the mouse, yeeeahh it's a bug I noticed after submitting. But playing in fullscreen should solve the issue!

As for the keys, did you talk to the other NPC on the left? You gotta talk to both because you need two keys to open the Brewmaster's door

Thanks for your words! The wall was actually intentional, but not for the rot theme hehe. At certain points I placed two wall models on top of each other so that they would do that, hoping it would emulate that clipping effect certain ps1 games had

That intro is absolute cinema! Loved the atmosphere and ps1 feeling, you guys nailed it. The boss was surprisingly intricate. Thank you for this game!

I really loved messing around with all the different ingredients and was looking forward to each new day so that I could see what new things I would have in store. Love the humor, too. Thanks for this game!

Love the theme, the style and animations are hilarious. The game could use a little bit of polish, but the core idea is great! Also, I am not sure if it's just me but the audio was clipping and I couldn't listen to the music properly

Got fired on my first day, yaaaay! Love the art style and humor of this game.

I got sucked into the game and found it very engaging. I liked that the workers do not increase, if one dies he dies and his friends walk over his corpse to gather my precious relics. May have benefited a little bit from some music or maybe some more features like more building slots with time so. Thank you for the fun game!

The art style is super cute and the idea of getting the ingredients delivered is hilarious. I did find it a little difficult to properly stir the cauldron and know when the potion was actually finished, but other than that I loved it!

I loved this so much. The graphics, the controls and the quality of the audio all reminded me of DOOM. Interesting take on the theme, too! I struggled a little bit with navigation at some point, but that's just me having zero sense of orientation ahaha

Thank you for this game

Heeey, I am very glad you appreciate the audio ambience! I am aware that the gameplay was not the best, and hopefully next time I will focus more on that! As for the whispers guiding you, that's actually a neat idea that I could one day be used if a similar game was developed. On a bigger scale, of course.
But anyhow, thank you so much for your feedback and I am glad you liked it despite the underwhelming gameplay! :D

Thank you so much for your feedback. And yess, the gameplay was indeed underwhelming and not at all to my liking aswell. I wished so much to tweak it further, but sadly had little time to do so. As for the bug you mentioned, it sucks big time that I never had it myself or else I would've fixed it by adding checkpoints, making the cloud not follow immediately after you die and bring back the disintegrating planks... Next time I hope to think of such things, or let other people test it first! And thank you, thank you; I am glad you liked the audio!

Hahaaha, I hope you slept well in the end!! :D

Thank you, thank you for your kind words. I fully agree that the controls felt pretty floaty and not satisfying, but I tried tweaking it abit and thought I would do more by the end. But I never did because I could only spend little time on the game by the last days.
However you rating the game a 5/5 for story fills me with great joy. A story-based game is what I would love to do someday, so you thinking I did a good job at that makes me happy. And yes, there is a bit of a monologue given by the ghost of the princess once you reach the top. I wished to add more lines given by both the narrator and the princess once you reach certain levels on the tower (already had them voiced and ready), but I sadly never got to it for the lack of time..

<33
I am really happy you and others seem to appreciate the lore I added. I wished to add much more, and actually there are voice acted lines I had at the ready that would play in the middle. But sadly I got tangled up in other stuff (mostly real-life stuff that prevented me from working on the game the whole week), and couldn't add more narration or even fix the floaty controls because I fully agree that the gameplay itself... does not feel so good. But again, I am glad you found something you liked. Adding story is certainly my favorite part of any game, and if it were up to me I would make a story-focused game.

Oh wow!! Thank you so much; I just had a look at your vid. Certainly didn't expect my little game to get a high rating. Thank you though! <33

Thank you so much! I just had time to look at the reviews now, and seeing so many people fall victim to this dying problem makes me feel like such a dingus ;)

I agree that the controls are not the best (they are outright BAD ahhaha), I really tried tweaking some of the variables I set in my code but couldn't get it to feel right and so I thought I would work on other stuff for the game before going back but I never did...
