I have learned that there will be (probably) 4 books, 4 parts each, and I believe each book will be purchased separately.

Not what I wanted to hear, but better than I originally thought... and will probably be well worth purchasing since it is interesting and well written, as long as it is reasonably priced.

I have no issues running on Linux.  Just run the .sh file (after you give permission to run it).

Your story is too good to lose, and I hope this BS gets straightened out quickly.

I want to say more, but what I've already posted (the longest review somewhere below this, I think), would be spoiler.   Just be warned about the chapter that actually gives a warning before you play it.  It will give you an option to skip that 1 chapter... for a good reason.  If you choose to play that one chapter (I think it was chapter 6?!), be prepared.

OK, I have run into a strange problem (I think)... 

After the onsen (Japanese bath) with Mao and Nao, I go home, Mao is calling me on the computer, but I am not receiving her dialog.  Only mine.  No voice, no text, so it is one sided (just me) and I don't know what I am answering/responding to.  

I was able to go to their apartment, Mao greets me at the door..  I go through a couple more scenes, but there still is no Mao dialog (haven't seen Nao yet).

UPDATE:

Ok, found the problem.  The Shawn's Mod (latest version) is causing that.  If I remove that (the MOD folder), it works fine.

Also, I made 1 addition to my original review (I included that Molly (the dog) finally got her sex change, I think it was by part 3).

 And I cleaned it up (too much space was there in the original).

I stopped at part 4 because I couldn't stand being forced to sex up Nana and Jamila.

I had no interest in either one, but they got more screen (and sex) time than all of the others combined.  SO much fast clicking to get past them, I lost interest because of that.

This has been on my wishlist on STEAM since I finished part 1, but I am praying that you also put this on GOG too (I purchased SL & part 1 on GOG).

One of the cutest women in the game (Cat) has a disgusting deformed butt.... What is it with ridiculously huge tits and asses in this generation?

(At least the tits are more normal sized in this AVN than most other AVNs out there, which is greatly appreciated.)

The Japanese women are very nice.  (BTW, Japanese say, "wan, wan" for imitating a dog's bark.) Oh..  Molly, the 'female' dog has a penis and balls... 

I forgot to mention, it has some good humor thrown in too..

The story is getting interesting, and thank you for not saturating it with sex scenes every 2 minutes... as a matter of fact, this one is pretty good for the build up TO the scenes.  (it could be because of me avoiding all of the paths of the LIs with fat asses and ugly faces, lol.)      A couple of repetitive scenes (sleep/wake up), but those are probably necessary.

Not liking that I am being forced into a relationship with the grandmother (and Jamila).. I have done everything possible to avoid her/their path, yet it is still pushing our "relationship".

(Part 2)

STILL pushing HARD to Nana and Jamila, even though I have avoided all possible paths to them..  I am actually getting sick of all of the screen-time being forced on the MC (me/player).

(Part 3)

No way to escape sex with Jamila, unfortunately. (Nana, seems it will happen soon, unfortunately.)  Have to speed tap ENTER about 100 times to get past Jamila scenes.

Starting in part 3, it is getting so hilarious , I have almost fallen out of my chair, several times.  Very good humor (most unexpected, but well planned).

It seems since I avoided all interaction possible with Jamila in the whole game so far,  I started getting errors during scenes with Jamila, ignoring it, and it would go to sex scenes, which I didn't want, including breast-feeding, which I DID NOT DO since the beginning.  I had between 6 and 10 errors.  (It appears that the dev thought that everyone would go the sex route, so the non-sex route was never made?)

I believe Molly (the dog) finally had her sex change... she now appears to no longer have a penis and balls...

(Part 4)

Just started, so will have several updates.

Humor still going on, and I am guessing it will go until the end. This alone makes it well worth it!

Have to speed tap ENTER about 100 times to get past Jamila scenes.  AND, she and I are always calling her "mom"... she IS NOT my mom.

Grr... Now I am being forced to have sex with Nana.. NOT INTERESTED.. more rapid ENTER key hits...(a real game killer)

15 minutes of rapid ENTERS later, probably more than 2000 times, and STILL sexing Nana.

It's to the point that I despise both Nana and Jamila.. I want to take them out back and shoot them in the head.

Guess this is the last of this game..   I can't imagine having to do this through the end of this one, then through the last 2 parts.

Can't trust anything on Steam either, whether it's abandoned or updated.  

I purchased Artemis a couple of days ago, and it was version 0.4.2, yet the most up to date game is 0.6.1b.  I tried to contact the dev (left a message), but no reply.. so I ended up getting a refund from Steam.

I purchased the Steam version, but it is still 0.4.2.

Please update the Steam version to the latest.

(Do I need to ask for refund from Steam?)

Just to let you know, I loved the game.  It was (is being) well done ;^)

I don't know if you are from Japan, but I recognize the school (and lots of the scenery) as Japan.. I lived there for more than 20 years and taught there for 16.  (I miss it so much, and hopefully will go back someday soon.)

I am guessing that the available renders are from Japan? (Even Japanese kanji, hiragana, and katakana)

Yes, if you are talking about AVN: Leap of Faith, Sisterly Lust, Being a DIK, Acting Lessons, Lust Theory.. including the DLCs for those that are available, those are the ones I have purchased so far... 

So far, so good..  only played about 20-30 minutes worth, but interesting so far ;^)

(PLEASE check on GOG though, I think you will be surprised at how many of us are willing to purchase through them to support you guys/gals (DEVs)!  Even if it is free download!)

Many of us prefer GOG because of the DRM free (no internet requirement, and tracking) ability..  STEAM has DRM, and requires an internet connection on many, if not most, games.

BTW, I had downloaded each and every one of those I listed before I purchased them.  After I had seen their quality, I then knew the DEVs deserved to be supported.       (I am also a Linux user, and fully support this type of system.. good coders deserve support (and respect).)

(P.S.  Less than 4 hours since I posted the original and I already have +1 (the second was actually from me.. was testing if I could count on my own post, apologies)...)

I just downloaded this, so haven't tried it out yet.  I see there are several others saying it has a good story, so I am looking forward to it.  I actually like these for the stories, and not so much the sex...

This tore me apart, limb-by-limb..

Extreme emotional roller-coaster is an extreme understatement.

I am a 55yo guy that has been put through hell and back (Desert Storm & all)..  The first and last wife that cheated on me 23 years ago..  I still haven't recovered, but just totally shut down and shut everyone out (I just finished "Acting Lessons", by so many recommendations too.. made it worse..).

I have NO idea what got me into this AVN stuff, and remember downloading something from somewhere (SL).. looking at it (Linux, btw.. so that was fun getting started..).. and telling myself, "WTF is this crap... same shit from the 80s with better graphics.  But, after many failed attempts at catching an interest, I finally followed through for more than 10 minutes... (SL).

After that, I lost a night's sleep because I couldn't stop the storyline...   I was hooked.

I looked up all of this AVN fad and kept seeing Leap of Faith being mentioned, so I purchased it on GOG.

It was great, the first half..  reminded me of pretty much everything and every emotion I had gone through from jr. high through university, then military (if you look on GOG remarks/ratings, you will figure out my post there...)..

Then came the mix of the sledgehammer to the shin and steamroller, starting at the toes, and slowly moving up. working up to the hardest "chapter" of the story.  At least it tried to warn of the impact...

Seriously, if you have PTSD and/or are even close to being in depression, DO NOT GO THROUGH THAT PART.  I am 1 tough MOFO that has seen guys I have gone through training with getting their brains splattered on my face... an ex that committed suicide, I don't need to go on..  This is NOT for the weak of heart, which obviously I still am.

I have no regrets purchasing this AVN.  In a way, I think I needed this, but I warn you, it will open up repressed memories, lots of hate and regrets, and things you would have wished you had never seen.   This opened up wounds I haven't seen for 23 years now, and I am not sure how to process them.

I WILL tell you that after the "Gulf War (1991), I came back pretty much ok..  was a 'stud'.. wish I could post the pictures of the BBS beauties that would surround me (literally.. and I mean literally, not how you young'uns use it today)...  Heck, I had to move twice because I was being stalked :P

I honestly HATE this AVN because it opened up stuff that I don't want to see again.

I respect this AVN because it gets to the heart of the problems and matters.  If I was going to kill myself, I would have done it already (not everyone is the same).  Sometimes, you just need to recognize the you need to pussy up and ask for help.

Calling this an emotional roller-coaster is so far off.. it's more like a 10 mile wide comet hitting your balls (guys, equate getting kicked in the nuts to blue-balls x 10000, emotional wise).

(I hope this isn't deleted..  It is just so hard to explain..  BTW, this 55 year old war veteran (guy), I have been balling my eyes out for 2 days..  I can't even call my V.A. rep, because I can't speak with a normal voice.

BTW, Holly was perfect in EVERY way, body and all.    Very hard to find anything IRL or even in these AVNs like her.    PLEASE make more characters like her!!!

I have to say that both stories (Sisterly Lust and TFTNV) are very addicting.

I fast forward through most of the sex scenes (pretty repetitive) to get back to the story itself.

As soon as I finished the first one (downloaded from here), I purchased it through GOG to show support for you to continue the story.  (I have purchased both SL & TFTNV on GOG, and am hoping that you will also put any and all future of your novels on GOG.   Unfortunately, there is no sign of the 2nd part on there, so can't buy it. 

I have now finished the second part, but have found an issue with Vess.  For the last play-through of the story, the only ones I am having a relationship with are the 3 sisters.  Because of this, up until the end, there was no option to release her from detention, and I had no problem with that.  She still supported and cooperated with us.

The issue is that somewhere between 19 and 21 (I think it was 20.. apologies, I didn't take notes and just went ahead with the story to the end..), she is all of a sudden out of the cage and having a relationship with me, which should not have happened.  It was probably within 15 minutes of the error that it seems everyone is getting (not sure it is the same error, but it is the only one I received through the whole game, so I suspect it is).

Anyway, the only complaint I have, is that there are too many big butts, lol.  I know that is a "thing" for some people, but I am not one of them.  (would be nice if it was possible to choose body prefs at the beginning of the game)...

Please put the others on GOG too!!  I will buy them as soon as they are up.  And thank you for your really good games.. I hope you can continue with your creativity.

OH!!! 1 last thing... PLEASE finish up 2 and get started on 3 ASAP!   Last thing I saw on part 2 was, "TO BE CONTINUED"... :^(
