not me thinking you can sneak in a bug-fixed update of the current build without anyone noticing

I’ll start by saying the dialogue and interactions in this VN is strong. Even in some sad scenes, this VN sprinkles in some comedic lines to lighten the mood a bit.
Despite some readers who mention context is required as this is a spin-off from an original work, you can read this as a bittersweet standalone story about breaking up, and learning to move on while finding the strength to reconnect/cope. And in that regard, the story has strong implementation of the theme.
Patrice as a character has his flaws but his way of coping with the breakup is very relateable and that makes his actions very grounded. I think, if given enough time to learn about the characters, readers will grow to love them even more (specifically Liam). The arts in this VN are done with full of love, care and effort (and also horniness ;3) and I appreciate the subtle details added in every CG/scene.
Overall, I enjoyed this VN a lot and I only hope the best for the team. Great work and thanks for sharing this with us.
A bit let down that it was too short. I wish we had some flashbacks about their past relationship or more descriptions on that. It would definitely make their impending doom a lot more impactful and bittersweet. Despite that, I like the story you’re trying to tell, of the indomitable human spirit in face of certain death. I’d love it if we can delve more into this.
I enjoyed what you’ve made. Thanks for this.
I like the premise of the VN, though having a more interesting hook would definitely grab my attention more throughout the read. I like how this story delves into generational trauma and how Min’s parents’ past affects their perception towards the MC. I can see you got a strong theme to progress the story with. Given more time, I’m sure this VN can be greatly improved and polished. Congrats on the release.
Just when I think I’ve found the limit of what RenPy can do, comes a VN that defies my expectation and pushes the engine even further. Absolutely a creative way of storytelling. The presentation reminds me a lot of other ARGs or FMV like “Her Story”. Really well made and executed.
Nonetheless, I’m sorry for not giving a higher rating on story and theme (3 stars, I won’t go lower than that). It’s not that I think it’s bad, but because I’m yearning for more context and motivations in the story. Maybe you could add a “Notes” feature where MC’s monologue can be shown next to the video being played (like having a Notepad program next to the video player.) This would add more depth to the story without breaking the immersion (just my suggestion).
But overall, I’m greatly amazed by what you have made. Thanks for sharing this game out here.
A lotta butt references in this one, my guy here is definitely of culture. Regardless, I’m sure given enough time and polish, this VN can be a decent one. But for now, the writing needs some rework and editing. Really clever way of using transitions to indicate movements and actions. I also like how you use the MayWolf’s theme as an idea for worldbuilding. Overall, I appreciate the effort put into this, but yeah, I’ll let you cook :3
I love Ridge’s actions throughout this whole thing. Putting myself in his shoes, I can see why he’d do his best to save a young man from undergoing potential abuse from his family, while at the same time, without robbing him of the independence to decide his own life. That’s a very mature thing to do. Overall, there’s an honest realism to the ending. But then again, boy, who wouldn’t wanna go on a truck road trip with a hot daddy wolf next to you, eh?
Definitely I regret reading this at night before bed. The sounds and visuals have a lot of unnerving suspense built up to drive my imagination wild. The story is simple enough to follow through, though I hope we get to see more clues into what’s going on with Julian, or more motivations for the protagonist to either care/distrust him early on (without spoiling the reveal of course). The presentation of this VN is solid, but I’d like to see more novel ways of spooking the readers if possible (which I’m sure is possible given enough time)
I’m looking forward to more works from the creator and I enjoyed this VN a lot. Thanks for making this for our enjoyment.
Yea that’s what I mean when I said glossary explorer. No plan for that yet (though I’ve been thinking about it). If we do get a substantial amount of people wanting it, then yes, I’ll rack my brain up to come with the UI.
