Hi everyone!
I am a native Korean speaker with a multicultural background, having been educated in Brazil and being fluent in English, Korean, and Portuguese (BR).
I’ve recently decided to combine my linguistic skills with my lifelong passion for gaming. I am looking for exciting indie projects where I can contribute to high-quality localization.
What I can bring to your project:
- Creative Writing Background: As an experienced creative writer, I don’t just translate words—I adapt them into natural, immersive sentences that fit your game’s tone.
- Genre Expertise: Deeply familiar with terminology in RPG, Simulation, and Management games.
- Multi-way Proofreading: I can provide cross-verification and LQA (Language Quality Assurance) between any of my fluent languages.
- Technical Readiness: Experienced in using Google Sheets for localization workflows to ensure easy integration.
- Design Support: Beyond text, I can offer advice on Korean/Portuguese typography (fonts) and UI layout to ensure your game looks professional.
Portfolio (In Progress & Completed):
- Head Chef (Steam): Full Korean localization completed. Currently in the final testing and font-polishing phase.
- dotAGE (Steam): Final review and font optimization stage. (Can access on Experimental build)
- and others ongoing....
Project Criteria (Please Read): I am offering my services as a volunteer to gain hands-on experience and portfolio, so I can only commit to projects that meet the following:
- Confirmed Release Date: The game must be planned for release within this year (2026).
- Development Stage: I am looking for games that are near completion or ready for a full store/game translation. I am not accepting projects in early conceptual stages or those with 1+ year development timelines.
- Credit & Access: My only requirements are official credit as a translator and a Steam key (or full build access) for context-accurate testing.
+I have encountered developers who do not understand the localization process and simply hand over a spreadsheet without providing any access to the game. I am not a machine. To ensure a perfect translation, I must play the game to understand the context and personally test how every string appears in-game—a labor-intensive process that I handle with care. If you want me to translate your game (especially for free), providing full access to the game is an absolute and non-negotiable requirement.
If you’re looking for a dedicated partner to help your game reach the Korean or Brazilian market (or vice-versa), please don't hesitate to contact me:
