This game is ABSOLUTELY fantastic. I cannot praise it enough. The gameplay is addicting, the relationships feel real and human, the plot is interesting, the pacing is well done. Seriously. If you haven't tried this game yet? Do. This is one of those games that should be the gold standard for Adult/Hentai games.

That being said...

Just like most games, it leans pretty heavily on a single aspect (read: kink). That doesn't make it bad, not by any means, but it *does* mean what it's not for everyone. What is the focus of this game?

Objectification, dominance, and degradation. (Oh yeah, and "yuri" but that feels like... Idk if feels wrong to call that a kink. Girls like girls, sexuality isn't a kink.)

Sure there's some pet play. There's a decent amount of BD with a spattering of SM. But it's more of a byproduct of the first 3.

So, for those of you who may not know, objectification isn't just "catcalling" or treating women poorly. Though that's unfortunately what it has been associated with in the public view for a long time. Objectification is treating someone as though they are an object. "You don't need to think, my pretty little doll" is objectification. "You know it would be easier if you just let me make all your decisions, after all, isn't your life so much better when I'm in control?" And yes the physical aspect of grabbing someone and forcing them to do something (for example, making them dance around using magic, or taking over their body to fight for them.)

(Oh, and a lot of that stuff is also tied deeply with degradation.)

That's the biggest kink in this game, so for those of us (yes I included myself. I love both sides of that dynamic the master and the toy) who like that, this game is a huge breath of fresh air in an otherwise dead and forgotten part of our lives...

For those of you who aren't into that... Well... I'd say at least give the game a chance, because yes it's that good. All the stuff I said at the beginning of this review/comment still stands. The game is just really well done.

I have no notes. Like I said, focusing on one thing doesn't make something bad. Bravo. Can't wait to see it finished.

It's a bit complicated, both require you to be in celestial form when Glace is present. The first, you have to give up when fighting her while in your celestial form. The second, you have to be wearing her armor and have her take control while you're in celestial form. (That means her body compatibility must be smaller before the fight starts, but larger before the fight is over.) Who you're fighting doesn't make a difference. I recommend finding a strong enemy that doesn't do much damage to you. Then make sure you have the ring of health regen (or its associated perk) and pass the time in celestial form. Maybe I have those backwards.

(Don't know if my reply for eaten or not, but I said- ) Yeah, I was talking about the lore stuff. But now knowing there's a time loop mechanic, I realize that not knowing the info the first go around isn't as big of a deal.

Also, separately, I was stuck on getting "caught" for not putting clothes back on. There is no tutorial that says you have to take them all the way off to put them back on. But with such limited time and stamina in the beginning, I could only undress enough to do minor touching before running out of one of those two resources. Would be nice if that was detailed in the tutorial for it.)

So... Are there supposed to be actual context clues, or am I just supposed to know this stuff? What about the history lessons?

All I ever get is "you pay attention..." ... "Okay let's see who was paying attention!"

(1 edit)

Note: it seems to happen when I affect the environment. Using plants, water to create steam, or temporary spells don't cause the issue. Tunnel and ice on lava do make it worse.

Edit: interestingly the problem goes away the further I get from where it started.

Bug? Where (on Android) the game takes 30 seconds to 2 minutes for every turn passed. I'm in floor 5, and I've been using ice to get rid of the lava, but for some reason the game locks up every move/wait/attack i.e. every time a turn passes.

This game desperately needs an English writer/editor. A lot of the turns of phrase and puns seem to be lost in translation. I'm glad that it doesn't have AI written dialogue, though. That would be worse. Other than that, it really seems like it's on the right track and only has a few awkward gameplay hitches to work out.
