From what I can tell there seems to be an issue with playing in full screen, and tabbing out.  Refreshing the page seems to help but if its a different bug then I don't know it TT

The art style and sprite work are absolutely wonderful! very pleasing to the eyes and a nice call back to old Gameboy games! I find the controls to be a bit confusing and at times feeling fairly clunky, Sometimes making it hard for me to walk around, and the interact button being on Z felt kinda off.  The silence at the start cutting into music was a bit jarring, so maybe something to lead into the game could be nice?

I did experience a bug when I walked to the bottom of the map at the start, I ended up not being able to walk upward.

I adore the artwork and the concept, it's rough around the edges but what isn't in a game jam! amazing job everyone!

The game is really fun! the sound effects for taking damage made me laugh and the little sprites were cute.

My only critique is that the music had parts that were a little too high pitch for me and got a little annoying, but there were parts of the music that had my head bopping as well!
