I liked the risk/reward factor of the discard and guard mechanics. Maybe it's just low attention span, but I thought the gameplay was kind of boring after a few rounds. Maybe you could lean even more into Balatro style and include some reward after a round to change the game like the joker cards. But overall the game was fun to learn and it was fun to strategize with the mechanics!

I playtested a little bit with some friends after I submitted the game and I noticed that the UI could use some work to help players understand how the buttons work and what the goal of the game is. For my next game I want to focus on making the gameplay easily understandable. Thank you for the kind words and feedback! :)

Thank you for playing! I did notice, after watching my friends play it, that the way the buttons affect your score and the goal of the game was not too obvious and it led to frustrations. In future games I will try to make the gameplay more intuitive and/or include a tutorial like you mentioned. I learned a lot from this game and I appreciate your feedback!
