Thank you for the feedback, appreciate it.

I hear what you say about the beginning. Your options are rather limiting and the gameflow is very linear.

This changes when the armory fully comes into play in stage 2, but I understand your point.

I think the story and the images have a lot more potential that I'll try to expand on in the next phase. I feel this needs to be complementary to the game in a way that it rewards your progression, without taking too much of the center stage. This is an incremental game, after all.

Anyway, I'll take your considerations along into the next build!

Appreciate the detailed feedback!

Good point about the scroll bars. The game UI definitely gets a bit squished on phones. I'll look into that.

I see what you're saying regarding the interconnectedness of elements in the gameplay. I've been experimenting with different ways to really scale the content in a meaningful way. Scaling and interconnectedness seem to be the most tricky thing in the setup of my game.

Anyway, I'm working on the next stage(s) and plan to expand the narrative as you progress.

Thanks for writing feedback, appreciate it.

My current goal is to create a free game for Itch, no plans for a paid (Steam) release for now.

Thanks for the feedback, appreciate it.

I completely hear what you're saying, but I'm glad the pace felt good.

How did you feel about the story elements in the short cut scenes?

Cool! Looking forward to seeing updates!

Yeah, no problem! I think you have a cool concept here.

Perhaps its tied to the films? Like, the first roll of film only has 3 possible synergies it can create, but they're low value. So you can easily get the synergies going, without it breaking the game. And this helps the player get used to the mechanic and get rewarded for synergies.

And then as you unlock or use more expensive film, you get more synergies available and these synergies give increasing rewards. That way, your progression feels good and you need a few images per film roll to get those rewards.

I don't know if this is the best approach, but maybe it helps.

And balancing the game can be quite tricky. But I think it can help if you lock in the game flow a bit more. Maybe hide certain upgrades or more expensive film rolls for the player, so they can't access them. It removes some options but it can help you get a feel for the progression steps the player takes.

Really cool concept, and fun loop to play. Cool game!

The beginning is rather grinding, I ended up just waiting for the 5,000 like to expand the gallery after hitting about 17 like/s and not seeing another good way to increase it.

The synergy options are rather overwhelming. Maybe have these be unlocked a few at a time? I don't know.

Anyway, looking forward to seeing this project progress! Keep it up!

Was just browsing around and ended up getting hooked by your game. Looks very nice, has a fun system and it's cool to watch all the dwarves run around.

The multi power is awesome, would love more of that.

Looking forward to the full game!

Hey, no problem. You're creating a cool game!

For me, it was mostly: level 1 and 2 consisted of grinding pots until my stamina ran out, with the sole purpose of getting enough stamina/damage upgrades to grind more pots. Repeat this process for a while until I had enough time and damage to kill enemies.

This didn't feel very rewarding. A bit like pointless, slow grinding.

I felt incentivised to ignore enemies altogether, since my primary upgrades (stamina and damage) came from killing pots. The gold the enemies drop was not helping me advance at that stage, so it felt like a waste of time interacting with them.

Also, I only found out later that killing all enemies let you advance to a new level and that moving to a new level would give higher value loot. This was not clear immediately.

Anyway, hope this helps! Keep it up!

Cool game! Enjoyed playing it, and it looks nice. I got kinda stuck for a long time at level 2, and it feels a bit grindy for now. Anyway, played it longer than I intended, so I guess that says something :). Well done!

Yeah, actually, I found the onboarding to be fine. You let the player 'play' through the steps, and it's reasonably intuitive. But yeah, it's a real cool retro idea with an original angle (running Silk Road, essentially :) ).

Very satisfying game, fried my laptop, had 2 frames/per second at the end, loved every second of it.

Also, it would be cool (like others said) if there's more to do than just move your mouse around. Like, an action on mouse click or something? I don't know, just an idea.

I really enjoyed it, looking forward to the full release.

Looks cool! I, being an idiot, ended up stuck with $0 and no way to progress. What I did was spend the $200 I had on the upgrade on the market that said '1x', not sure what that did but essentially I was left with no money, no supply, nothing to sell, and no way to progress. Would be nice if there was an escape in case that happens. Anyway, you've got something cool on your hands here!

Cool game! Nice look and feel, very responsive. One thing that doesnt feel 'good' as a player is the attack stops after the first enemy hit. this means it's very punishing to be close to enemies. That feels off, since being close to enemies increases the chance of getting hit. So I feel I should be rewarded. If the attack moves through enemies (but registers the damage) I can kill lots of small enemies by drawing them in. Which should be a nice move to pull off.

Anyway, I enjoyed playing it!

Love the way it looks! It is extremely laggy for me, could be my shitty laptop though.

Cool, but lacks balancing I think. I made it to more or less infinite money in about 2 minutes.

Really cool game! Very addicting. And I love the theme!

Really fun game loop! Visuals look great, really like the clarity. One piece of feedback: on my tablet the game is slightly zoomed in. Therefore I could not see the menu tabs on the left. Looking forward to playing the full game!

Another mobile thing: I can't equip items.
