Thanks for the comment!  I really liked yours - the hex/isometric thing was a cool twist and gave it a nice retro vibe.

It'd be cool if we (or reviewers) could make themed categories like 2d top-down-racing or things like that.  I kind of enjoy playing games that went in kind of a similar direction, because the differences can be really fun.

Thanks for the spacing tip - I got stuck in a UI-overhaul rut and didn't get to do as much tweaking on the physics system as I would have liked!

I really liked the hex map - made me think of an old Avalon Hill board game vibe!  Had some slowing down at times but wasn't sure why

I can get to adding the initial blocks after the 'tutorial' popups, but i can't figure out how to actually run the loop - i press the 'A' and 'D' and arrow keys, but nothing happens?

Yeah I forgot itch.io doesn't do DM's - my handle's mates_like_hovis on discord

Definitely!  Send me a message with what you've got in mind...

Could use a bit of 'juice' to make it a bit more fun for longer, but it's a pretty fun little bullet hell vert shmup as it is.  Cool!

It feels like it could have been much more immediately fun if there was some juicy interplay between the fire and water - as it is it's hard to tell if what you're doing is really doing anything, and to engage with the game much.

Biggest problem is that the music is about a 1-2 second loop, so it gets pretty old pretty fast, and there's no obvious way to mute!
