I've just released a new NPC character pack for my Three Kingdoms series.

It includes 8 characters with 4-direction walking sprites (16x16): 

All in pixel art style, compatible with RPG Maker MZ/MV, Unity, and Godot.

If you're working on a Three Kingdoms or ancient China themed project, these should fit right in — especially if you're already using my scene tilesets.

📿Pass through the mountain gate and enter the main hall.

The Buddha sits at the center, with faint incense smoke rising from the burner and candle flames flickering behind the eternal lamp covers.

Prayer flags hang still, wooden fish rests quietly, and the meditation cushions still hold the marks of worshippers. Sunlight filters through the carved wooden windows, falling on the weathered pillars.

Someone has just offered a stick of incense – the scent of sandalwood still lingers in the air.

The temple is not large, but it is quiet and solemn, carrying the aged scent of wood steeped in years of incense smoke.

It would make a fitting scene for a Three Kingdoms game – a place that a story can pass through.

This time I've drawn a new set – Academy (Exterior).

In this pack, I tried out some architectural styles I haven't drawn before, and tweaked the colors and proportions. I wanted the courtyard to feel alive.

📐I drew a study hall from the Three Kingdoms period.

While drawing, I kept wondering: could people back then really read the words on bamboo slips by the light of a tiny oil lamp?

And did students ever sneak little doodles on their desks when the teacher wasn't looking?

A study hall was never just a place for reading. It was where people gathered. Someone talking, someone listening, someone taking notes carefully, someone staring into space. That atmosphere matters more than the building itself.

😋With this set, I wanted to hold onto that feeling.

If you're making a Three Kingdoms game and need a classroom scene with warmth to it, this room might come in handy.

When creating this series, I've been trying to draw every scene I can imagine from the Three Kingdoms, one by one. My hope is that these assets will help game makers build their own Three Kingdoms worlds.

For each scene, I've looked into quite a bit of reference material, trying to strike a balance between historical feel and gameplay usability.
