I just replayed this 2 years later and you are 100% right. Without checkpoints, this is pretty much a rage game. I was blinded in the past due to playing the same level over and over again through testing that I didn't find it difficult, but now I can see and apologize for neglecting your feedback.

So I found this game in my files and I'm not sure if I should try the project again or not, maybe for a game jam? Anyways, it's very buggy and unfinished and you can't die lol.

It's a quick horror game with wonky player speed (that's an issue I might fix later), it takes place in some sort of play-place with a playground, one of those weird things that you crawl through and idk the name, and a lazer tag arena.

Actual screenshot of the 1st level of the game (yes I made it in SketchUp using templates lol):

The only big platformer parts are the final level and the tutorial. It doesn't need checkpoints.

Lol the door is hidden because it also has a mirror effect. Go to the wall behind you and just slide along there to find it.

the door  in the colorful pillar level was very well hidden. It has a mirror texture so it reflects the other objects, almost looking invisible. Maybe i'll make a tutorial on the game.

Home is the final level. It just have question mark because of the vibe. Maybe I'll add more.
