I tested it out on my phone (Redmi note 12 pro 5g), it was OK. I'll be happy if you could also check it out.

Hello again my dear friend, Thank you so much for giving your time to write and help me with this problem, I just uploaded a new version called v10 for this game which I have built a while ago and just forgot to upload on itch.io. 
Other player's problems kind of were solved with this update, but some others mentioned some more bugs. So I hope this one fixes the problem you mentioned, If it didn't, I'll be glad if you could tell me. 
The dialogue button has been completely removed and now you could touch the screen for the dialogue to continue.   
You could download the new version from the download tab.

I'm sorry you ran into this bug. I tried fixing it in v4 and tested it on a few phones (like the Samsung A11 and a couple of Redmi models), but it didn't happen on my end, so I wasn't able to catch it.

Since it's still breaking for you, I'm just going to completely change how that whole scene works so it doesn't happen anymore. To help me figure it out, could you tell me a little more about what's going on?

1. Does the button stop working while Alex is talking, or right after he finishes?
2. Can you still walk around when it gets stuck, or is your character completely frozen?
3. Does the audio start repeating on a weird loop?
4. What phone are you using?

It’s supposed to feel heavy and a little unclear, until it all sinks in.

I’m really glad you noticed the Persian elements and connected with the story, that means a lot to me. Since Persian is my native language, I always felt a little sad growing up that so few games included Persian subtitles or representation. Adding it to my own project was really important to me, almost like giving back to that younger version of myself who wished to see his own language in games.

You’re also right that the game leans more toward a psychological experience than pure fear, I wanted the focus to be on guilt, regret, and atmosphere rather than just jump scares. Your notes on the UI and tension are very helpful, and I’ll definitely keep them in mind as I continue improving and making new projects.
