Update for my comment from a while ago: there is a review process for jams and it takes a little longer than usual to review since covid hit. Hope this helps. 

Just updating this post for anyone that finds it on Google like I did others, it just showed up on the calendar. Just looks like they, understandably. take a little bit to approve new jams.

Hey everyone! New at creating jams so forgive me if this is normal. I created a jam about 3 days ago and it is not showing up in search results or on the calendar. I confirmed that if you send the direct link to someone (https://itch.io/jam/xjam-december-jam) they can see it and join it, but that's the only way to find it. For obvious reasons, that is not ideal, haha. I am not sure how to check the status of it being reviewed, however it does say "published" on my dashboard.
