Thank you very much! We will definitely be adding more guidance in the future based on all the feedback we have received. I really appreciate you for letting us know because every bit of feedback is valuable to us. I'm so glad you liked the game!! Good luck with the game jam :)

I haven't encountered that bug yet but thank you so much for letting us know about it so we can fix it. We had to push some other fixes to the AI right before submission so I was somewhat expecting new issues to come up unfortunately.  That is the nature of a game jam though that we have to submit before we feel ready. I'm quite grateful for it because I can only see all the flaws in the game and hearing kind words brings back a lot of motivation. I really appreciate you playing the game and giving us feedback on it, thank you so much.

Thank you so much for the kind words! :)

I'm glad you managed to get it working, I'm sorry for the web issues. We will know better for next time to test the web version more too and on different browsers! Thank you very much for the kind comment!

I really enjoyed this a ton. I know you've already heard this from others but my only real wish was that I could move a bit faster because waiting in between rooms adds up time quickly and I am an impatient person, it would also be nice to have more music but the sound effects are perfect, I liked the tink tink sound when mining a lot. Its such a vibe though truly loved it.

Thank you so much for the kind comment. It is very motivating!!

I'm so glad you enjoyed it! We really appreciate the comments so much and are taking all the feedback back with us so that we can make it better. I want to make the enemies have a bit more that they can do in the future and also make the guns each feel more unique. I know we definitely need to improve how much information is presented to the player so that it is less unclear what the goal is and what they player is allowed to do. Good luck with the game jam!

I'm sorry you had these problems! We really appreciate you giving the game a try and the feedback. One of the first bugs to fix is definitely getting stuck at the beginning. It never happened to me so I didn't realize and then my friend got stuck immediately right after the jam started and I was like... oh no. I hope you get another chance to play once we have a full release :)

This is fun! I couldn't move at first for some reason but once I figured it out I was somehow worse at the game than when I was just sitting still in the middle. The movement feels great, the shooting feels great. I wish the other programs on the desktop worked too I wanted to poke around, but maybe I just didn't get there.

I love kaiju so this was fun for me, and there are so many different ways you could expand this in the future. Good luck with everything!

I really like your game. It is such a chill puzzle game. I'm terrible at designing puzzles so I always really admire good design. The art is extremely cute as well!

Oh I didn't realize! The downloadable version worked just fine for me anyways.

I hope you had fun at least! I appreciate you trying the game and we will take that feedback into consideration and make the instructions more clear in the future so that players don't feel lost.

The visuals and vibe is really cool. I made it through getting both of the power boxes disabled and then accidentally electrocuted myself haha. I feel very short in the game especially when in the facility, and the refiner was confusing at first because the buttons don't look like they are doing anything, but it was good once I figured it out. I walked up to the enemies as soon as I saw them the first time and was like are we friends... they did not want to be my friends. The web version of the game is entirely unplayable for me because of the sensitivity (I had the same issue with our game so I  get it) but the .exe was fine for me.

I enjoyed this quite a bit, I feel like what is missing is something to do in between waiting on your energy to charge. If you could click an individual to slightly hurt or heal them, or collect some sort of drops or something along those lines I think it would increase engagement a lot. I like the theme and it feels really cohesive. Some other feedback - having to wait a moment to confirm the card feels clunky for some reason, I'm not really sure why but I think it might just be a bit too slow of an animation. The sound effects are a bit loud on the cards specifically for some reason, and it is a bit jarring in comparison to the rest of the audio. I really liked seeing the characters get tossed across the screen!

You know, I'm actually just dumb and didn't realize they get more difficult if you use the wrong thing. (I thought it would simply fail) I was trying to slice a plant you are supposed to pull and was confused by the fact that it was growing exponentially faster. The game I think is balanced okay but maybe there needs to be more of a feedback when you use the wrong thing, or maybe I just need to pay more attention lol

It took me a minute and reading the comment where you explained to find the screen in the game I think it is kind of hidden if you don't know what you are looking for. It was actually more obvious on the second level because it was surrounded by spikes but I don't want to talk about how many times those spikes killed me. The gameplay is really fun once you figure it out! It's a nice puzzle platformer game.

I'll give it a try! I know it is possible so I'll see if I can figure it out.

I feel like this is basically RNG pachinko right now because there isn't enough the player can do to control the boulder. I think the main issue is how much of an impact absolutely everything in the path has on direction. If the boulder is heavy and has momentum I'm not sure it should get tossed to the side by a small jar to the extent that it does. That said, I like the concept and with some tweaks I think it could be fun. Although there is something entertaining about starting it and watching the boulder go right now, haha.

I love the 3d model for the character and the animations on it and the game concept, the gameplay is kinda finicky. The red circles don't line up very well with the actual interaction range, it seems like they trigger much more generously than the actual eating using the space button. Most of the time I would have 2 or 3 red circles on the screen and I'm not sure which item I'm actually targeting and sometimes a circle is on the object but I was too close or not facing quite right so hitting the space button would do nothing. It makes for a lot of spamming the space button. Sometimes the circles are under between the ground surfaces instead of on top, and it isn't clear when you reach the end of the game because the meter just goes back a bit instead and nothing else so you don't grow. I think this game is fun but it can be really really fun with some polish on the control side!

I tried your game, and I'm soo bad at platformers. I'm going to try it again later because I want to get better and I really want to see the areas that are in the screenshots they look really cool.

I REALLY wanted to implement a skip button for dialogue because I got so sick of watching the intro every time I playtested the game, but I just ran out of time to add it. I absolutely agree that it is needed though! I really appreciate you giving the game a try and your feedback, I've made a note about getting stuck in the wall so that I can fix that later too :)

I couldn't get past the wall running/jumping part just because I have no skill, but the movement felt nice!

This is creative, and the sound effects are really nice.

I love this game. This is my favorite game of the jam that I have played so far. I love the puzzles, I love the animal facts, I love the art and sound effects, I love the existential crisis. Thank you for making this I hope you continue to make games. I wish that I could connect the puzzle pieces to each other when I have two pieces that belong together but I don't know their location in the overall puzzle yet, but I assume that would have been difficult to implement in the time frame of the jam.

This is a very stressful game with a very cozy cover. I was fooled, but it is a fun idea. On that note how am I supposed to play it without losing for more than 2 minutes because those weeds are sooo fast.

I love the light gun, its a cool concept and looks really neat. I was sad when I found the crystal and couldn't grab it or anything. Gimme it

I don't have the skill required for this game but watermelon ball. It stuttered a bit towards the beginning but seemed to run better after that. :)

This is really fun, the movement feels great and the music is great. I had an issue with the game freezing when picking up the first gun on both the web and exe versions but otherwise it ran really well.

I like the way the movement feels and the bounce pads are fun. I got confused and stuck at one point but I think I'm just bad at the game.

This game is so fun but the rage that it brings me is unexplainable. I love the menu so much too!

I love this its such a great way to address the theme of the jam. I found all the vial things and did all the downloads, I LOVE the animation for the downloading with the keyboard and the arms it is so charming. I also liked the idea of having the various codes on the screen though the one time I got to that I entered 4 of them and they were all not it haha and I was stressing about it (in a good way). I got stuck when I opened the lore note about the player in the spawn room and I couldn't figure out how to close it to keep playing even when I got killed in the room and spawned in the next room over. I was happy once when the enemy got stuck behind a dead body in a room and made fun of him until he resurrected it and they both started chasing me :')

I love the concept of this game, I wish I could jump into the apples it's more fun to go really fast and being able to time it to jump through them would be fun instead of having to stop and hit them. It runs well and the art is cute!

Thank you so much for playing it! It is difficult to balance letting the player explore to figure things out and giving them instructions so we werent sure how much hand holding to give the player. For several of the team members this is our first game jam submission also and we have learned so much. I really appreciate the feedback because it will help us know what direction to go in when we clean this game up a bit more after the jam.
