I thought someone else might have encountered the same problem and might be able to explain whats happening. But I understand your point, I'll have to wait for weeks it seems. Thanks for replying :)

I guess there won't be an answer to my question or ticket then, since many days passed, since I tried to contact itch.

Hi there and thank you for reporting this problem! This massive glitch originating from the latest code changes is fixed now and the game is fully playable again, as intended!

Hi, I installed the Itch desktop client on Windows yesterday and had to login again via 2FA. This worked fine. After this I got a warning while commenting on a game I like, about 10 minutes later. I have NO idea what I did wrong!? I'm also trying to react to user feedback for my games and can't, because of this situation.

I think this is some kind of automated prevention mechanism, but if 2FA doesn't work correctly I would have expected an answer for my mail to support, to be honest, or another reasoning in the warning, wanting me to use 2FA. It's just a technically wrong message here when 2FA is the reason to restrict my account in the first place apparently. Overall it's just confusing and frustrating.

Warning says: "Your account is temporarily restricted from posting. Please consider adding two-factor authentication to avoid any issues in the future."

Is there something I can do myself or do I have to wait until someone reacts on the support site?
