Really enjoyed this and thought it was a great take on the theme. Very simple mechanic done really well to emphasize the theme is awesome as far as I'm concerned. The dialogue at the beginning was very funny and balanced setting the premise and teaching the game well. You already know about the hitbox issues but just to let you know I also encountered them (just mentioning in case it helps to see how ubiquitous that is for the experience).
:) great work overall!

You left some really helpful visual feedback on my game so I'm gonna try to return the favor with some audio feedback on yours, hope that's ok :)
The music choice was great and set the tension nicely. The background ambience for the people was good too and gave the impression of a crowd but it all felt very distant and not like you were walking through a crowd. I wouldn't know if this was the right fix without tinkering with it myself but something I'd experiment with is having some close-sounding human noises as you're moving through people. Just something to balance the sense of depth and give more sonic-feedback to being close to other people. Super subtle adjustment to make and like I said, not sure if it's the perfect fix without tinkering myself but hopefully wondering about it is helpful.

Great work and best of luck on everything!

Thanks so much for taking the time to play and to leave such thoughtful feedback! It's truly so helpful and what you said feels like great insight into how I could make the visuals better. I totally hear you on the mechanics/lack of consequences too (and it's one of my biggest issues with how the game shaped out!).  Virtual high five for also going out of your comfort zone and expanding fields. I'm excited to check out your submission.

Thanks for taking the time to play! I appreciate the insight and also really enjoyed your game! Best of luck :)

Super fun and well polished, really impressed you did it all from scratch for the jam! The fact that everything was custom made from scratch really comes through (I especially enjoyed the UI) well done!

I liked how you built out the world with different npcs to talk to and enjoyed exploring it. I had a very easy time killing the wizard at the end and initially thought I needed to attack every creature in the dungeon because I had the sword. Great work!

Really enjoyed the aesthetic and the core loop - simple but really fun! It took me a second to figure out I needed to click on safe vs non-safe as opposed to sorting the food by moving it around. Once I figured that out though I had a lot of fun.

Thanks for taking the time to play and leave some thoughts! I appreciate it

Wow I can't say how much I appreciate this thorough feedback and I am going to absolutely take some time to dig into it all and consider where you're coming from with it. It is so incredibly helpful to get this level of critique and I appreciate it immensely (not remotely harsh)!! I will check out your game shortly :)

Thanks for taking the time to play and leave thoughtful feedback :) I was wondering about the banishing ring size and hearing that someone else similarly is really useful.

Thanks for taking the time to play and leave some thoughts! You're not the first to request arrow movement hehe, I'll be sure to include that if I keep tinkering at this. I also was going back and forth about the lives persisting or not and appreciate your feedback on that element.

I've been wanting to improve my own art skills and hearing you just started but were able to get something with this much charm gets me more motivated to improve my own! Best of luck with it!

Super fun milk blasting mechanic for moving and as your main means of fighting. I enjoy the feel of flying and it fit the theme nicely :)

My wife played this one and was smiling and said "I felt like a dog." Really fun take on the theme.

very cozy and I really enjoyed the music

Really enjoyed the comic book art style and the music was great. All together it set a very nice atmosphere. I had a hard time understanding how to play though and wasn't totally sure what I was doing or when to end my turn etc. I think a tutorial or something would probably help because I'm sure it makes a ton of sense once it's explained a bit more :)

Really enjoyed this and especially enjoyed the hand-drawn look of it. Some of the puzzles are tricky, idk if I'm just bad at games or what but I did enjoy the challenge :)

I appreciated the quality of life add with the cards that were wrong wiggling. I did feel like when I was dealing with the intricate suit dynamics it was bit of guessing. The whole thing looks great and feels polished!

The stock photo jump scare was very funny! I thought the camera was a little tight on the charachter. Congrats on your first jam!!

I really appreciate the feedback, it's super helpful! I totally agree with the tennis court obstacles and you're not the first to mention a speed boost! Thanks again for the specifics, it really is helpful :)

Thanks for taking the time to play!

I love the atmosphere and it's very fun to cook up these orders. I agree with some of the others that hilariously the loan shark is one of the more likable characters. After a while it did begin to feel like a coin toss whether or not I'd be getting the order "correct" but that didn't stop me from enjoying it :)

Really fun and a good challenge! It was pretty tough to keep that last puzzle straight but I eventually got it and didn't get frustrated trying until I did. The art is really well done and the whole thing is so well polished!

Really appreciate you taking the time to play and leaving some helpful feedback. I hadn't considered hazards but I think that's a really great idea :)

I really appreciate you taking the time to play!

I wanted to keep playing and had to stop lol. This is really polished, fun, and fits the theme super well. I really liked how fleshed out all the different customers were and enjoyed figuring out what each would prefer etc.. really nicely done!

This felt really polished and fun! I was halfway through when I was thinking "idk if this fits the theme though...." then I realized I was about to be tested lol. I'm grateful to be deemed a smart monkey. Really enjoyed this and thought it hit the theme well!

I agree with the others about needing to backtrack to change answers in the notebook but it didn't stop me from enjoying this game and the humor in it. I also loved that I don't think I would have been able to do this without already being the nerd that I am and knowing star wars lore lol.

That was tough but the tone was fun so I wanted to keep trying! I appreciated you finding a way to be funny and fit the theme. I was curious how the levels scale up in difficulty or if it's just a how many levels can you keep finding the wolf kinda thing. Either way great job!

Really nicely done especially for your first game (my entry was also my first attempt at something)! I enjoyed how brief it was and that I could explore each ending you crafted. The monkey ending had me giggle. Well done!

Interesting game! I ran into a couple bugs where I'd get stuck in between the platforms. I wasn't sure if the safest color in the top was supposed to be an untrustworthy tooltip or if I was doing something wrong as I was playing it. I really liked the ghost model and the color pallet.

I really enjoyed the vibe and atmosphere. The feeling of paranoia also worked for me and was on theme with the jam :) I sometimes got a little lost in the house but idk if that was just me being bad at remembering the doors or an intentional kind of confusion to feel as your lost in this turmoil etc.. either way super fun and great job!

Thanks for taking the time to play! Definitely a lot borrowed from pac-man :)

I really appreciate you taking the time to play and to leave some constructive feedback, it's so helpful!!

The mystery of the story was nice and felt on theme. Idk how many endings there are but I got two of them and enjoyed how each outcome was a reflection of trust and its consequences. Overall the mood was on theme and I wanted to learn more about what exactly was happening in this world. Well done!

I enjoyed the boss fight and especially enjoyed that there was a boss fight all the sudden! The second phase was easy to spam if I stood underneath the boss but tbh the rest of the game was pretty challenging, so I didn't feel disappointed being able to beat the boss easily :)

Very big Ikea panic fart fan. This is really hilarious and on theme! I love having a blowout meter as your run cap and how the buff selection was also a timed button press like the fart mechanic.

Really well done and probably my favorite submission that I've played so far. I can't believe I managed to beat the input swapping levels lol. It felt like every part of this was reinforcing the thematic goals and was fun/challenging.

Really enjoyed a detective game for this theme and it was definitely tricky piecing together the puzzle between each person to narrow down on the killer each time. I also liked the menu/camera tilt to pick your level, very nice touch. I had a hard time keeping track of who was who because the models  were similar but that's obviously a jam constraint :) Well done!

Very cute in a fun way! Dealing with a breach of trust feels like an interesting approach to the theme too. The tone shift when you get caught was also well done and I appreciated the drama/humor of that moment.

I really like this! I think the lost meter and the journal systems are really intuitive and capture the theme well. The overall feeling of collecting memories and then piecing together what to trust or not felt fun and on theme. Really well done! I do wish that I could have had a choice when the game ended instead of being locked into the dialogue at the end door.
