Awesome game! I actually feel it could be one of the winners! The pacing, sound design and emotions are awesome! Truly awesome hame!

Also thanks for the honest review! Sorry that the tutorial is rushed. Sadly lack of time made me kind of just mash a lot of dialogue together in one big block of text. The manual is supposed to be hard to approach, but i will play test it more to see if I can make it more enjoyable

Actually you can see whole dialogue by pressing the Z button. It was on the right mouse button but that conflicted with other controls and I didn’t make it in time to change it

I am actually almost sure I will develop it further (AT LEAST I want to polish it, add the level I scrapped cause not enough time, and make it more user friendly)

I saw your comment on my jam entry and don’t worry, I get that it could use much more polish in the tutorial. The problem is that I simply hadn’t enough time to make a good tutorial. That is why you probably noticed that at some point it simply starts hastily drop tons of info in pure text without showing the gameplay. I too don’t like it but it was better than not having tutorial at all

Thanks for honest review! This truly matters to me. Funnily enough, locking some items was, in fact supposed to keep people on track. I just sadly didn’t have time to properly play test. And also the problem with the game is that it is supposed to be somewhat confusing. That is why the whole gameplay is built around deciphering the manual. But it os hard to balance it so it doesn’t become annoying or frustrating and feels as an intended feature

Amazing game! For now it is one of my favourites in the jam! I like the 2D art and general artstyle. It just looks stylish

I liked the game. The idea of the parasite being like an intrusive thought of sorts is interesting.

I have played the game and I really liked the visul design! There is something so weird and otherwordly in it to me for some reason (in a good way). But I would try to make the AI's message less "cryptic" and more cohesive. Dont take this as offence. I actually think this is how ai could be used well in gaming and just suggesting what to work on! Very interesting idea

Would be greatly pleased if you try my game out!

Thanks a lot! Glad that you liked it! And actually level two is quite hard. I even had to nerf it a little

I adore the pacing and how impactful the game is. And everything just looks awesome. I can see it even taking the first place!

Btw I just tried out the game you guys made and it was a blast! (pun wasnt intended lol). I adore the pacing and how impactful the game is. And everything just looks awesome. I can see it even taking the first place!

I am not sure but the way I coded it is that at first you can only interact with the PDA (the little computer with a handle). The tutorial tells you what to pick up. After that it gives you access to other tools. Basically it should work good if you follow the tutorial dialogue step by step at first. Thank you so much for the good review! If it will still bve broken I can record a video. At least when I tested it and my friend played it everything worked well

I like the style! It is goofy but still creepy and kinda gross (in a good way)

I liked the main menu theme so much! And also I like how you took a less literal approach to the theme of parasites! (at least from how I saw the meaning hahahaha)

Amazing game! For now it is my favourite in the jam!
